This place helped me survive cold winters as a student in Peterborough! Coming from an Italian family, I can truly say this food is made with love, and with nothing but fresh ingredients and true quality - you can even see them making and cutting fresh pasta! Takes only 4-5 minutes to cook their prepped noodles and it’s the most comforting dinner in a pinch. I always get the lemon pepper fettuccine (comes dried in a bag) but they have fresh and frozen dinners and sauces ... you name it! These people are so kind and if you have the chance to support their business I recommend doing so...

The Macaroon Cookies were so GOOD.

They taste just like macaroon. Very happy to have tried this specialty snack from The Pasta Shop. The texture is such a defined bite. The cookie doesn't break that easily but is hard enough where your teeth just carve out the exact shape as to how you bite the cookie. It's very well-defined bite while still being soft. That's how accurate the bake is on the Macaroon Cookie. The owner is of Italian Background & I am very happy to meet her as I really like the Italian culture. I sent my husband to pick up cabbage rolls, roasted vegetables, and hamburger soup that I ordered over the phone. Spoke to the owner when ordering and she was very helpful while I was deciding what to get. Absolutely LOVED the cabbage rolls... deliciously flavoured and nice consistency.
