We have always loved stacked but it was our first time at this location. There were no booths larger then a 4 seater in the entire restaurant, even if the restaurant was empty, it's not even an option. so my two kids had to sit in highchairs. Not the biggest deal honestly. The big deal came to when it was time to order. I always order the Benedict hash , but with fries instead of the home fries , this is because I share it with my kids and they prefer fries and honestly so do I. The OWNER was the one to take our order and flat out refused the substitution. I asked why, politely at this point , explaining that I get this in every single location we've ever been too (6) to date. She continued to refuse too. I asked if fries were available, she said yes but not to substitute them for the hash. As there was only 1 way they could make the dish. I told them why I needed it, still refusal. At this point I'm getting very frustrated because she wouldn't stop bantering on about why it wasn't possible. I then ordered the entire dish through side dishes and requested it all on the same plate. She happily complied with this, (probably because she was making more money) even though we offered to pay for the fries for the Benedict hash I might add. She then sent over her store manager (after I had fixed the issue myself) to double down why I couldn't get fries with the Benedict Hash. At this point I'm pretty frustrated and angry, asked them to leave our table alone and that I was done with talking with them about it. I had fixed my own issue and we would just like our food. Explained I'd be calling head office about their poor customer service and unwillingness to accomodate but when a solution was offered still wouldn't let it up. A neighbouring table heard my request to be done dealing with the owner and manager and assumed racism. To clear the air with the owner/manager I verified it was not a comment from a place that had anything to do with their appearance or who they were as people. (We had suspected this was their thoughts because they only sent over waiters of a similar background as our table after this) I very matter-of-fact explained to he owner that my issues were with the dissatisfactory service, that resulted in money gouging, and how poorly she runs her business. This then solidified that she thought I was being racists, as she goes "explain to me how I give bad costumer service then" this tells me she heard none of my original complaint and only assumed due to our differences in appearance that must be why I was being difficult. This error was cleared, but I stand by my statement. This establishment is run by horrible ownership and management. Had they of said my request for fries wasn't possible due to a "no substitution" rule dueo how busy they were or even because they don't serve fries at 930am, I would have been more accepting, however they were happy to accomodate the request of me ordering all aspects of the dish seperately , and changing me for each piece and even put them layered correctly on the plate (the same as the substitution dish I've had at every other location). Honestly, we will never go back to this location and if it was our first time to a stacked we'd never go back to another one. These are meals we pay for. It was a $70 bill before tax, and it was a simple request , if something this simple is so difficult for them to manage from a customer I can only imagine how hard she is on her staff and other customers who have requests for more important things like allergies. I would hope she gets some serious aid in running a business or the franchise holds her accountable for how she treats the very customers who help keep the doors open during this economic crisis. Horrible experience, will never be back. Nor do I think anything...
Read moreIt was Thursday morning at 10:50am when we came in to get breakfast before we went to work and just from the get go the service wasn’t good. The waiter took forever to get our drinks let alone even longer to come take our order. Food came out cold and hard like it was reheated so many times. Never got our coffee refilled had to ask for water to be refilled even though we put our cups at the end of the table for 5 minutes with him constantly walking past and just looking at the empty cups. Once the water was finally refilled there was a dry and crusty piece of food stuck to the rim of the cup along with one of the other cups being cracked. Asked for extra butter he said “Sure” and never brought us extra butter. Complained about my pancakes cause they were rock hard and dry like an awful cake. He offered for new home fries and pancakes. Only brought me like a quarter serving of home fries and never got me pancakes. Asked at the end for just my meal to be free as I didn’t even eat 25% of it. Was gone for 5 minutes to only...

The pancakes were overcooked on one side and for the most part ignored by the griddle on the other. The best part of this experience is what would best be colloquially referred to as the "meat". What showed up on the plate beside the pancakes would be best described as tubes of tasteless, gelatinous, greasy goo, lacking in anything resembling a texture and masquerading as what we are told were "sausages." The greeter was barely functional in English and when asked a question on whether they had dark roast coffee resulted in an expression of complete confusion. When the server returned after a lengthy absence to inquire if we enjoyed our "food" we informed her that the sausages were horrible. Her response was "oh", walked away and it was the last time we saw her. It will be $37 that I will regretfully...
