Subway — Restaurant in Peterborough

First of all, employee didn’t wash had after making meat sandwich, I had ordered 3 Veggie Subs toasted, cheese not toasted properly, than veggie were not putted properly, I am asking to put onions and employee was putting cucumber, he’s not listening the order correctly, veggies were less, when i asked for grill, both employees were telling that they cannot grill because there were 4 veggies in them, my order was lettuce, onion, green peppers and green olives. There were not too many veggies or dressing in them and that they cannot grill them. Than he screwed up in packing, one sub has all his filling came out while packing, and at the end, his handing me out subs without bag, upon asking for bag employee was asking for charge, if it is paid bag than he should be at least ask for bag if you have 3 subs in order. Employees playing with onions and have not any name tags at all. You are the only subway which is open after 10 PM in Peterborough, and it is always not worth it to go. Also, you guys never contacting to a person who is paying you for not worth it food and upon complaint, you never contact customer. This is totally unacceptable. And you should call me. Also, there dish washing soap scent coming from sub and onions. Worst guy owning the restaurant putting stupid clowns to make money for him and looting people in name of money, if you have some sort of same, than respond to this comment and contact me ASAP. Also, on Monday I am going to report your restaurant to Health Canada and Peterborough health. Also saving a peace of sub so they can trace content of dish washing soap and take proper actions. Went in for two subs at 11:50am November 19th.

As we picked our toppings we noticed a pickle in the lettuce. We let her know my partner was allergic to pickles, and asked if she had any other lettuce available as the lettuce she had was contaminated.

She proceeded to pick up pickles and stared at us. Then we repeated what we had told her and she put the pickles back, but did not change her gloves as she touched one of the sandwiches. She said she didn’t have any other lettuce, which I don’t really believe as it’s normal to have backups for any toppings.

She wasn’t even willing to offer us more spinach. We asked her to change her gloves before continuing, as that is standard after touching something that could cause an allergic reaction, and she did, however she was very short with us and not helpful at all.

We shouldn’t have to ask staff to change gloves when we’ve informed them of an allergy. If we hadn’t she would’ve continued to touch the sandwiches.

The cross contamination is extremely concerning as well, I would advise anyone with severe allergies to be wary.

She also had friends of hers hanging out at the tables taking up two booths, and they were cursing loudly and being somewhat obnoxious. Not a good experience at all.

First of all I want your area manager to contact me for this worst experience that I had here today. First you need to train your staff how to deal with customer even though some of us are not canadian or born here, we just want respect. They are just being racist right now. especially that indian girl. She don’t know how to speak, additionally her face expressions were bad than worse. From the start to end I can tell from her face that she doesn’t even wanna serve me. I just asked for the extra sauces like I usually do but I don’t know what happened she just started putting it like crazy. I was frustrated that I had to paid for that piece of garbage that she made. I asked for the girl name many times but they never told me her name and I don’t know why they are not wearing there name tags.
