Got coupons in the mail so we figured we would try out this new place. I ordered a dozen "regular" donuts for $10 which I think is ridiculous. These regular sized donuts are 2" in diameter! That's it! The regular price for 12 of these is $24, absolutely not worth it! The donuts are dipped and topped right in front of you, and it's a hot mess when you open up the box. The donuts are stale. Worse than grocery store stale. The toppings honestly didn't even taste that great. I got an Oreo dipped with Oreo crumbled on top, Salted Caramel dipped with Sprinkles on top, and what I think is Milk Chocolate with crushed Smarties on top (this is not what I had asked for, but he made a mistake. I can forgive that). I took a look at the prices and everything is outrageously expensive. $89+tax for a Cheesecake Factory cheesecake? Please tell me that is not a normal price people would pay for such a small cheesecake. We will definitely not be going back, not even to try something different with one of the other coupons. Save your money and get fresh, huge, and significantly cheaper donuts at Port Union Bakery. Worth the...

My experience was not pleasant due to bad customer service and sub par ice cream at a premium price.
I looked at the menu and ordered some ice cream. After paying I reviewed my receipt and noticed I was charged a different fee to have my ice cream dipped.
I asked the attendant what's the difference between what I got and what I thought i was going to get. She simply looks at me and doesn't say a word and then called for what i think is her supervisor. They then proceed to talk between themselves in front of me in a foreign language.
After a minute or so I asked the supervisor if she would like to hear from me what my question is. She says "what is it?". I asked my question and she replies dismissively, "I don't know, we are a franchise and there is nothing we can do".
I don't know if it was a language barrier but it seemed to me that they aren't prepared. Additionally the ice cream dip was watery. Not worth the addition $1.25. plus they had no napkins. I had to hold my $6 ice cream cone with a brown paper towel.
I do not...

I cannot stress enough how abysmal my experience was with Cakes n Shakes at 1010 Brock Rd in Pickering. From the moment I made a phone call, I was subjected to a nightmare of incompetence and hostility that I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy.
First off, let's talk about their customer service. It was like entering a war zone where the staff were the enemy combatants. I was transferred through not one, not two, but three different employees, each with an attitude so toxic it could kill houseplants. It was as if they were competing in the Hostility Olympics, and they were dead set on winning gold.
Now, onto my simple question about their donuts. You'd think asking about a pastry wouldn't be cause for World War III, but apparently, it was. Not one of the three stooges could manage to answer my question without rolling their eyes so hard I could practically hear them over the phone. And don't even get me started on their inability to maintain composure. It's like they were allergic to professionalism...
