Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Pickering

May 1, 2025 ⭐️👎🏽 I used to be a loyal Pizza Hut customer, but this recent experience completely changed that. I ordered two pizzas for pickup, and when I got home, I discovered one was completely burnt, the crust was black, and every pepperoni was curled and overcooked.

This isn’t the first time this has happened, but I didn’t complain before. I simply took a break from ordering. Unfortunately, I gave them another chance and got the same disappointing result.

When I called the location, I explained the situation, only to be told by the staff member that “this is how the pizza is made” and that it was “normal.” I pointed out that none of the pizzas on their website look like this. I asked for the manager’s name, and she claimed not to know it. She also said she didn’t have a number for head office. Then she put me on hold without explaining why, and the call was eventually disconnected.

I could have gone to Domino’s, Little Caesars, and with this quality even Pizza Pizza, and spent less, but I chose Pizza Hut because I’ve always enjoyed their food and believed the quality was worth the extra cost. Sadly, this experience proved otherwise.

This level of service is unacceptable. Poor quality food is one thing, but being dismissed and ignored when trying to address it is another. I won’t be ordering from Pizza Hut again.

December 4, 2023 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I revisited my preferred Pizza Hut to take advantage of a promotion they were running called REPIZZA! The offer was a complimentary pizza refill. All one had to do was bring in an empty pizza box, and they'd receive a free cheese or pepperoni pizza! What stood out to me was the efficiency of this particular location. While conversing with friends who endured over an hour of waiting at different locations, I found myself in and out of this place within 15 minutes. Let me start off by saying, I really wish I took a picture of the salad that was given to me today but unfortunately I didn’t. I ordered a side salad and garlic bread with cheese tonight for dinner and when I say I was shocked at the portion of lettuce given to me, I mean I was SHOCKED. The container the side salad is provided in is a sufficient container for a side salad but the container was LESS than half filled with lettuce. I got a email about a survey which I filled out very quickly describing this salad issue. This local Pizza Hut called me and wanted to “conduct a survey” and I said I just submitted my survey online I was really disappointed with how ridiculously tiny the salad portion was and was explaining the container was nowhere near filled up properly to which she responded “we don’t make the salad” and was awkward silent….I responded with “well who makes it then” and she responded “I don’t know” and again was awkwardly silent ????? I asked her WHY she was calling me then and she said to conduct a survey I said I don’t want to take a survey I’m telling you what my issue was, I can’t BELIEVE this location is still running with how these people provide customer service!! I stopped ordering pizza at this location a year ago when I ordered a large veggie lovers and it was RAW, wasn’t even cooked and when I called the store the lady responded “well we’re not going to re deliver we’re to busy” and didn’t offer me any solution !!! I learned my lesson not to order pizza here, but my goodness how do you mess up putting lettuce in a container and then have the audacity to answer a customer like that???????? Disgusting behaviour this place should shut down...

THE DIRTIEST & UNTIDY STORE I HAVE SEEN IN MY LIFE.

Normally I order online, Last time I had a chance to visit this store. When I arrived at the store no one was at the front desk. Total 3-4 employees were working at the backend. Whenever they had a chance, they come to the front desk to attend the customers. I had to wait about 10 minutes before I was given attention. Meanwhile, I was waiting I observed what’s happening in the store and how the Pizza is prepared here. I was completely shocked to witness the Health and Hygiene protocols store was maintaining.

I WILL NEVER ORDER AT THIS STORE FOR THR FOLLOWING REASONS: • Front counter solid with dirt and dirty oily stuff. • All staff wearing dirty and smelly uniforms girls and guys having their hair open and loose. • There are food particles strewn all over the floor in cooking area. • There’s food splattered all over the cooking ranges. • There are dirty dishes & Utensils sitting in the back. • The dips are kept open in the air without maintain any temperature or maintaining proper hygienic standards. • The Paper boxes they use for packing are sitting on the floor near the washroom door they take from there and put the pizza in the boxes and send us.

No Store manager available any time for complaints or suggestions. Please visit yourself and see - Thank You Pizza Hut for stopping me to eating Pizza’s any more.
