Ordered a pizza on Sunday night. I don’t have great reception in my basement where I stay so I used a combination of the pizza tracker and regularly going upstairs every few minutes to check the door. At one point, I get a voicemail on my phone saying a delivery attempt was made but I didn’t answer my phone so they took the pizza back to the store. There was no knock, no doorbell ring. Nothing. I had to call the number the store has listed which took me to the general customer service line which I then sat on hold for several minutes with, only to then be told they would send the driver back out. By the time I got my pizza it was barely warm but I didn’t care as I had been waiting about an hour for my food. THEN, when I left a negative review with customer service and they gave me a call back, they processed to essentially tell me it was my fault as I didn’t leave instructions for them to ring the doorbell. Apparently it’s their protocol to not ring doorbells late at night because people get mad... I ORDERED THE PIZZA WHY WOULD I GET MAD IF YOU RING MY DOORBELL?! So since the time warranty was voided because I didn’t answer my phone (which never rang because I have poor reception in my basement, as is fairly common around Canada), I didn’t get any sort of compensation. Just a “sorry, you should have told us to ring your doorbell. Leave us a note next time”. So no, I will not be ordering from...
Read moreOrdered pizza here a long time ago and I wish I didn't. There was a deal on the pizza pizza app where if you bought one pizza the next one would be free. The manager at the pizza pizza did not like this because he didn't know if upper management would compensate him and had a attitude when I came in to pick up my promtion pizza. You would think management would be aware of their companies promotions and services.
Another thing was they don't like it when you have a complex order and they don't like it when you put free toppings on your pizza. I like tabasco on my pizza so the app allowed me to go up to 4x tabasco on my pizza and when I came to receive my pizza the manager once again had a attitude and made a comment on how I'm ruining the pizza. The second time around a employee under him just slammed the tabasco on the table and to put as much Iike (saying it with a angry attitude)
Honestly there are hundreds of places to get pizza nowadays and I don't care to give my money to a bunch of whiny lazy workers who act like YOU'RE suppose to provide customer service to them.
Little caesars, Pizzaville and even Casa di mama frozen pizza I would buy instead of this Pizza Pizza...
Read moreToday I lost my phone at 1099 Kingston Rd. I accidentally left it on the seat near the elevators. I realised that it was missing 5 mins later and turned around and drove back but couldnt find it anywhere. After asking around I finally gave up and with a sinking feeling I went home. Thinking to myself I wont be seeing that phone again. We called the phone from home and then a man picked up, he told us he had the phone, he was delivering pizza in the bldg. and found the phone and to come pick it up from Pizza Pizza at 705 Kingston Rd. This kind man is Fareed, he is the owner of Pizza Pizza at this location. I went to collect the phone and offered him the little money I had in my wallet as a thank you gesture, but the kind man refused it and said "No, no you just come buy your pizza here" and I did and I will continue doing so at this location. May be you can do so too. Just want to share this beautiful experience with you. The people of Canada never ceases to amaze me. I am humbled to have met Fareed today. You deserved to be acknowledged and recognised. Thank you so much for your kind and honest gesture. It will not be forgotten. Thank you! Thank...
