Came in on June 22nd, 2025. It was 35°C in the shade outside. We needed a quick bite to eat ahead of our 5-hour drive home. As we walked in, we realized the A/C was not functioning. It was very warm. We proceeded to order our sandwiches and rice bowls. That took a solid 15 minutes. How is there only one employee working at a time? As we're waiting for our food to be ready, we're really starting to feel the impact of the heat in the restaurant. It must have been close to 40°C in there. The employee had to pause making the food a couple of times to wipe the sweat from his forehead. I asked if we could get free fountain drinks to compensate for the heat. Employee declined stating manager would not approve. Again, why only one employee in the restaurant, with no authority to make decisions? Who runs this place? We purchased a couple of lukewarm beverages from the refrigerator. Somehow, even those were not able to stay cold. When I ordered, I asked for a rice bowl. Stated #26 on their menu. Repeated it to employee who had difficulty understanding me, but eventually repeated "bowl" correctly. When I was selecting the topics, employee did not include the rice. When I asked about it, he said I asked for a salad only. I didn't even use that word the entire visit there. Reminded him that he even repeated correctly what I wanted when I ordered. Very strange. Another reason why having a second employee would be very helpful. Food was so-so. Hard to enjoy a meal when you have sweat running down your face, back, and somehow, even calves. When we were nearly done, the employee signaled that we could get fountain drinks. Of course, this came AFTER we had already purchased other drinks. This was a very unpleasant visit, one that could have been easily avoided had the management been in control of their restaurant. I would avoid this location if possible. They are clearly unable to keep their operation from running smoothly. It's a shame. Subway used to be a good chain. It's been going downhill steadily for a while now. The focus is no longer on the clients, but rather on maximizing profits by...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible service received, my sub was made with mayo, which I cannot have. And I apologized to the lady at the cash, she refused to do anything about and refused to make me a new sub, she said she cannot make me a new sub because it's almost 10 dollars, I explained to her I couldn't eat it. She refused to offer me a refund, and refused to make a new sub.
Filed a complaint, and the apparently manager whose name is Hiral, did absolutely nothing. The email looks like an automated response for poor customer service. Disregarded the fact that I paid for my sub and didn't eat nor take anything from the store. I literally paid 10 dollars to walk in and out, I ate nothing there. Zero acknowledgement of that, just a sorry for your less than ideal engagement, we hope your next visit is better. What kind of response is that? Terrible customer service, and even more so terrible response from a "manager".
I will be escalating this further. This is extremely poor way to treat customers, you already over charge drastically for bread and veggies, now to have a customer pay, and then refuse to make a sub I couldn't eat? That's beyond low. You need to do better, I absolutely dispose...
Read moreI think there is a major gap in the training in either this franchise management, or in corporate. I have been to this location twice in the past 2 weeks- different people each time, and had questionable experiences- however tonight took the cake.
I asked for a foot long turkey. While making it she ran out of turkey and without permission started putting ham on. When I asked her if she was putting ham on she said oh I don’t know what this is… I’m sorry what? I asked again and she said she doesn’t know what the meats are. When I said I can’t have ham she said oh. She took the ham off and placed the bread back on the rack for the next customer! Talk about cross contamination of a common allergen and of a food that many do not eat because of religious beliefs. She then proceeded to cough over the food. Like I said before each time I come to this location I am met with people who don’t know what they are doing, and don’t know basic restaurant food preparation. If this is happening out in the open for customers to see I don’t want to know what goes on in the kitchen. Again- maybe some actual management training and supervision would be...
