Mary Brown's Chicken — Restaurant in Pilot Sound

Hollick Kenyon location. Well now I will be driving 20 minutes to a different Mary Brown’s location. Went there this evening. The minute we walked in the door the girl that was working there who was sweeping looked like we were interrupting her cleaning. Keep in mind, it’s hours before they even close.

I ordered two macaroni and cheese. Look in the bag and I see it’s not actually macaroni and cheese it’s macaroni salad. I point that out to her. She proceeds to argue with me that it’s in fact macaroni and cheese. That’s what everyone calls it. I explain I’m feeding my kids. They are expecting a warm macaroni and cheese and that they actually do not eat macaroni salad at all. Not to mention there were two orders and she only gave me 1. So, I say, I want to return it. It isn’t open after all. Just charge me for some wedges. Well, the attitude she gave me. Continued arguing that it was what I ordered. I told her yes, that is fine! But now that I know they call macaroni salad macaroni and cheese I won’t order it next time. She basically throws some wedges in the bag. Not enough to cover the cost of the two macaroni salads and barely acknowledges me. She begins to talk to the other employee about the macaroni salad and macaroni and cheese in another language. I have gone to this restaurant several times in the past several years. There have been many instances where there was terrible customer service. On one occasion the food was so terrible that I had to have it all remade. I continued to give my local Mary Brown's a chance as I wished to support them. However after what I experienced today I will never return to this restaurant again. Not only was I ridiculed by the lady at the front for asking for cutlery, but she completely berated the customer after me for how he ordered his food. He had to order it 3 separate times and after each time she insisted you don't order it that way you order it the way I want you to say it. By the third time she had said this I laughed out loud and the customer turned around and said to me what's happening right now? After this display I wished to return my food for the money immediately so that I could never support a store that would carry themselves in this fashion. I understand this is a long-winded review but it bears evidence for the one-star Ive given here. If you do not wish to be humiliated for how you order your food do not go here. I will tell every single person I know about this incident as one day it could be my mom or sister getting told how to speak. This took place at 1230pm March 29th/2021. I just bought food from your location and it was frankly super underwhelming and disappointing. I ordered 3 big Mary’s and one 2 chicken piece combo. One of the pieces was a literal piece of just bone. There was absolutely no meat on it. I was really disappointed because this isn’t the first time this has happened. I went back to show the staff and asked for a replacement or a refund. The employees were EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful. They argued and made it seem like I was lying when in reality I brought the piece of bone with me to show them (please check your cameras). I also spend 10 minutes calling your location but the phone was “busy”. Upon arrival nobody was on the phone and it was purposely made to be “busy”. Please teach your disgraceful employees how to treat customers or get new staff because you WILL lose business if this continues. I personally will never return to this location ever again.
