I'm conflicted when writing this reviews. I think the restaurant needs to decide what attributes or what type of Viet restaurant it wants to go with. It's fancier, nicer and also pricier than a casual, express kind of food places, but the atmosphere, food quality does not match with higher quality places.
Pros: Only Viet food in town AC Food delivered fast Clean table, have sauces to go with pho Broth is nice. Cons: Pricier than comparable. 10 bucks for Viet sub is weird. Other items are priced at comparable or higher mark than similar Vietnamese restaurant in Vancouver, despite this is Pitt Meadows. Seems to offer everything, but all are at higher price. Noodle for pho is wrong. Using this type of noodle for pho however a common practice in Viet restaurant in North America. Unfortunately, this restaurant belongs to that type. Loud talking noise from kitchen. This also typical with a particular type of Viet restaurant, where traditional ways beats Western adaptability. DT is half half, but not...
Read moreVery good quality food, however....We were a little disappointed as we were going to a park with our takeaway. No napkins, no cutlery, no chopsticks. Now that it looks like we are pulling out of Covid, i made (a false) assumption we would also receive some (wood?) cutlery and napkins. My bad for not asking, their competition either includes it without asking or at least asks if it is needed. They are charging top dollar for pho - the most expensive I have seen so far. The flavor is good and you get good value. Speaking of expensive... if you want some hot sauce, an additional $1.05, and hoisin sauce an additional $1.05. No there is no hoisin sauce included nor hot sauce. A nice touch with these prices would be to include sauces as part of the dish cost. At the same time I don't begrudge anyone making money in these tough times for any restaurant. Just be eyes open on this place. Probably a better...
Read moreReally good service! This is a family restaurant that brings a lot of good energy. Every member of the family was involved in the service, and they were always paying attention. I loved that if I turned around or looked up, someone would come straight to the table. You could really tell they cared.
I had the strawberry smoothie and it was great. The iced French coffee wasn’t for me, it was too strong. I also ordered 5 pieces of fried shrimp dumplings (I don’t remember the name, but I’ll share the picture!) and they were super crispy and tasty.
I got the pho number 2 and it was really good—the portion was huge. I couldn’t even finish it! If you’re looking for a good soup when it’s raining, this is the place.
The spring rolls were amazing 🤩 really crunchy and fresh. Plus, the service was fast. Definitely recommend this spot if you want something warm, tasty and...
