B&B Tap and Grill — Restaurant in Point Edward

Overall my experience was really good at the b and b grill. My family and I were staying at the best western for the week, as we were here to visit some family and frequented the restaurant quite a bit while we were here. Food was good and most of the staff were great. That unfortunately changed when there was a change in the morning crew. We had an older server that seemed disengaged and was unwilling to do the basics of serving. We had to ask for a menu each time we came in. It went, "would you like something to order??", "Well, we haven't seen a menu yet.". She was hard-pressed to drop off water or coffee, and when she eventually did, wouldn't come by to offer a refill. I had to ask her three times for a coffee. After the meal was done she wouldnt come by to take a plate or a glass away. It felt as though she was avoiding you, just so she wouldn't have to do anymore work, like fill up a glass of water. When we were leaving, we saw that she was on her phone and texting someone. It was the same service for both interactions with her.

I was meeting a longtime friend for a quick bite after a full day of reuniting and fun over the previous 16 hours. I stayed at the next door hotel so it was an easy spot to meet. We were both famished. The first thing that was obvious. The place was understaffed for a Sunday morning. Every stage from getting a menu, initial drink, ordering, food coming and paying took far longer than it needed to. The food was very good and hit the spot. We both had the big breakfast. However there was a lack of attentiveness on tea and coffee refills. When it came time to pay there was an issue with the debit machine and it was left to us to figure it out. It has nice big tables well spaced & well lit why we chose this spot. Unfortunately food was not good at all. Group of 8 reservations for brunch.Potatoes not cooked still hard inedible all eggs ordered soft or or over easy came fully cooked toast was forgotten only some were asked about drinks. The waitress seemed overwhelmed angry slamming ketchup on table when someone asked for it. At the time restaurant was empty but for maybe 12 other diners & there was 3 waitstaff. The other waiter who came to aid her was much better. I would not return here which is a shame had not been there in a long time but it is no longer what it was. The food and...
