Bean on a Mission — Restaurant in Point Edward

All around impressive experience. Very welcoming atmosphere, which I would attribute not only to the friendly staff (shout out to Steph and Shana!) but also to the clean, bright and modern design of the place. It appeared to be an extensive renovation of the existing building and clearly lots of thought and consideration went into even the smallest details.

Plus, the food offerings are fresh and more inspired than your traditional cafe options. Lots of interesting choices on the menu!

They’ve struck a great balance here between offering a more upscale experience from your typical coffee chain while also remaining unpretentious. Right across the street from the hotels on Venetian as well, so convenient for those here from out of town.

This was honestly one of the worst food experiences I’ve had. The cookies tasted like they had been sitting out for a day or more dry, dense, and far from what you’d expect from a place that claims to serve fresh baked goods. Whoever is in charge of the baking clearly lacks the necessary skill or care and should be taken strict care of. If this continues, it’s only going to drive customers away. Very disappointing to see a business being dragged down by such poor standards of people baking them!!!...
