Boston Pizza — Restaurant in Ponoka

Ordered about $85 worth of food for delivery. Paid online and asked that the delivery driver ring the bell and leave the food for contactless delivery. After waiting an hour and a half the driver showed up and tried to make me pay again. Stated that I already paid and what his instructions were supposed to be. He called himself a screw up and left the incomplete order. Called to get the rest of our order delivered including a honey dill chicken bowl, Caesar salad and kids cookie/juice box. Was told it’d be a bit of a wait but that we were priority. Soon after, the driver came and dropped off the chicken bowl with no chicken and no sauce in it. Called again to complain the girl who answered the phone said she’d send sauce. We said no we’d like it remade since it had already been a 2 hour wait at this point and she hung up on us. Called again to speak to a manager who blamed the entire fiasco on only having one delivery driver. Such a joke. Love paying for expensive cold food and excuses. We were the only ones in the restaurant. We had a group of 11, we ordered our drinks early, our alcoholic beverages came to the table just before the food got there. When they did get to the table they made some of them wrong and not tasting good at all. Even our server knew they were mixed with vodka when they were supposed to be gin, but still brought it to us and told us it was mixed wrong. We ordered our food at the same time. They didn't delivered any of the food till all the meals were ready. The 2 orders of nachos were cold, (the cheese wasn't even melted, the beef was like it just came out of the fridge.) The pizza was slightly warm. When the one girl was bringing the food out of the kitchen we told her that the nachos weren't cooked. She said "They can't be, they just came out of the oven." We continued to tell her that we didn't want them this way and she continued to say "there is no way, it can't be." As she walks way. Our server was trying their best. Wow what with this service Boston pizza. Great food but this is the worst service I have ever had at any restaurant. The servers at this Ponoka location are obviously a little young to be servers when they just take your order then forget about you. I drink my drink before my food came out. The server didn’t even ask if we wanted another drink. Then. Awhile later the server came back and asked how the first few bites were I said good. And she walked away. Didn’t even ask if we wanted drinks again. I was already done three quarters of my food when I was asked how the first few bites were. After I was just about done the set ever came back and asked if we wanted more drinks. Not very good service. Maybe some people need to redo some training on customer service. Sorry no tip today.
