This is a surprisingly fabulous, local café. Not a chain restaurant. We went in for a coffee but stayed for a full breakfast (The traditional.) The service was very friendly and attentive without being annoying. The staff didn’t come across as bored or rushed. They listened, got the order right, and the food was cooked to perfection and delicious - not greasy not burnt. The toast I ordered was gluten free and better than the average GF bread. Even their presentation of basic food was an extra detail that sets this place apart. The cappuccino was excellent (I was there with an Italian so this is an important detail!) Just as impressive was that they knew how to serve tea. A pot. A cup. A spoon. A small pitcher of milk. On a tray. Not a mug with a squashed tea bag stuck to the side and nowhere to put it. The Broken Bow was also Clean! The table was clean, the cutlery was clean, the floor and counter and washroom were all clean. Amazing perk in this day and age and greatly appreciated. And… the music was good- an eclectic mix of greats from several decades and not too loud. Whomever owns this café knows how to find great staff- the two cooks, the two severs. I highly recommend this...

The Benny bowl was delicious, it’s definitely a great option if you’re not feeling like having the heaviness of a traditional eggs Benny on the English muffin. Instead, you get the poached egg with a delicious hollandaise (one of the best I’ve had), on top of cubed potato’s, bacons bits, avocado and some pico de gallo.
My fiancé got the chicken sandwich and said it was cooked well and seasoned well, so would recommend that as well.
I had the local ciderys sparkling lemonade which was absolutely delicious. Next time I’m in the area I want to try the loaded ceaser, and the table next to me had it and it looked phenomenal.
Keep an eye out for daily specials! They...
Read moreHad an eggs Benny dish. The potatoes were deep friend and covered with salt. The eggs were cooked nicely, the bacon again, salty (to be expected) so I'd asked for an option of 1 Benny with bacon, 1 with the avocado/tomato. It was explained to me that they don't like to make any changes.
The 3 options are all included in the price, and the avocado/tomato was likely cheaper than bacon. I'm not sure of the logic here, but when nobody came by to ask how it was, nor offer any other help, again I was disappointed. Did the hollandaise save the dish, sadly no.
The atmosphere is nice, clean and nice artwork on the walls for purchase.
Would I return or...
