Wendy's — Restaurant in Port Alberni

Update 2024 Nothing much to add. Update May 26th So I've tried about 3 ~4 times their burger offering over the past 6 months, the only thing consistent is that the bottom part of the bun will be swimming in grease. How they can not have adequately trained staff is beyond me. I've eaten at all of the fast food chains in Port Alberni (Wendy's, McDonald's, A&W, Dairy Queen, Burger King and can honestly say that Wendy's is the absolute bottom of the barrel. Not one of the competitors is guilty of swimming the bottom of the bun in grease. Go elsewhere, your stomach will thank you. Tried their Dave's Single Combo, completely disgusted - the bottom of the bun was "swimming" in grease! How anyone could think that it was a "good idea" to serve it to a "paying" customer is beyond me. And don't anyone try to tell me it was just "juice" from being cooked from fresh ground beef. I didn't just fall off the truck yesterday if you known what I mean. Tried their Bacon Cheddar Cheese Sauce Baked Potato. Pretty underwhelming to say the least, more "cheese sauce" than actual cheese. Kind of reminds me of buying nachos and cheese sauce from non profit fund raising groups, you know were you put up with sub par 'cause it's going to a good cause in the community. I'm not sure what Wendy's has done since I last ordered (very recent) but something drastic has been changed and it's not good. Half the burger menu is missing from door dash leaving very little options, couldn't order a Dave's anything. The order shows up and new wrapping and significantly lighter. The portions were a joke. The burgers had zero substance (which Wendy's has always been good for portion sizes) and very small and flimsy. Ridiculous amount of lettuce with a tomato slice bigger than the patty. I placed a mobile order at 10:05 for 2 breakfast items. The only option it gave me for a pickup time was 10:35 So I place my order payment goes through. When I go to pick it up they tell me breakfast ends st 10:30 and my order was never made. They simply tell me I can get something off the lunch menu or come back tomorrow morning. Someone is not doing their job and making the the mobile orders. They tried pinning the blame on me for being late when my order was placed well before breakfast time ends.
