I came here just before 8:30pm lastnight and the first thing I notice is how untidy the restaurant is. Garbage overflowing, tables are dirty, etc. When I went to place my order, there was a decent wait while I watched the employee run to the back frantically, while telling me he’d be with me in a minute. I’m not in any rush and don’t mind waiting, but it was odd as it hardly seemed busy in there. Not to mention, there were other employees in the kitchen. The employee once again seemed frantic with my order and when I asked for queso and chips, he had to go and get the queso from the other kitchen (the one for the drive-thru), and there was some additional unexplained wait for my chips. I’m then asked if I want a bag, to which I say no, I’m eating it here. The employee then places my wrapped burrito in a burrito bowl container. In past experiences, I’m almost certain you are given a basket? Have they run out of baskets? I then presented a $50 bill to pay for my order and that also seemed to cause issue - the employee had to ask the other staff if there was any cash in the till. There is no reason why cash at 8pm on a Saturday night should be an issue. I’m left feeling like I’ve been some burden for simply placing an order. The till area also seemed dirty. Needless to say, the experience was a let down and while the food was good, with their subpar dining room and dirty counters, I question their standards in the kitchen. This location gives Chipotle a bad rep and I won’t be returning.

I’ve been to my fair share of Chipotle’s across the lower mainland, and I have to say the service, food quality, and cleanliness of this location was not only subpar but a genuine food hazard to the general public. I arrived at this location roughly around 5:30pm, and there was little to no food options available. Everything on the food line looked as though it had been sitting out for hours; the sofritas, pinto beans, and sautéed vegetables were left so long that they had started to become caked to the edges of the metal pan. As we went down the line, there was a mess of different food items scattered all over the table, which paired with the poor portions, and customer service doesn’t make me want to come back anytime soon. Even after I had paid for my bowl and was walking out, the place is littered with garbage. Once I got to actually eating my food, the chicken I had was almost ice cold, and the steak was tough, cold and chewy. Even the cheese had dried out and tasted stale due to it being left out seemingly all day. I love chipotle, but when the place looks like a litter box it really doesn’t sell me on getting any extra guac… Avoid at all costs!

EDIT: Added a photo of a bowl from another location so you can see the difference in portions!!! First pic is at this Poco location. Horrible!! Place was filthy, both the dining area and kitchen. Portions were TINY. Not at all what Chipotle is known for… it’s as if they were rationing. The West Broadway and Guildford locations don’t skimp on portions the way they do. My bowl could’ve been a kids size serving. If you’re hungry, skip this place and go to Mucho Burrito instead. Wait times were long, service was slow, and they were out of everything. Customer service was non-existent. No thank you’s, no “sorry we’re out”, no basic courtesy. The girl who made my bowl looked so inconvenienced by everyone, yet can’t even do her job properly. Just quit if ur gonna ration and ruin everyone’s meal and roll your eyes at every customer lmao Everyone at this location needs to be replaced by Canadians who’ll actually care about their job or at the very least, people with standards and integrity.

I recently embarked on a culinary adventure at the renowned Chipotle Mexican chain restaurant, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts on the experience. While the overall visit was pleasant, there exist a few realms that would benefit from refinement.

First and foremost, I must extend my utmost appreciation for the warm and inviting atmosphere that permeated the establishment. The staff members exuded an unparalleled attentiveness and eagerness to assist, embracing me with a sense of comfort and impeccable care. Moreover, the pristine state of the dining area contributed to an ambiance that was nothing short of delightful, allowing me to relish my meal amidst a serene and hygienic environment.

Turning my attention to the culinary offerings, the quality of ingredients proved to be commendable. The ability to personalize my order was a delightful feature, granting me the freedom to tailor it to my exact preferences. The diverse array of toppings and salsas presented an added layer of gastronomic pleasure, elevating the entire dining experience to new heights.

Nevertheless, it is with sincerity that I express my slight disappointment with the portion sizes. While the flavors undoubtedly danced upon my palate, I found myself yearning for a more substantial meal. Additionally, certain ingredients, notably the rice, lacked the moisture and flavor that would have taken them to the pinnacle of gustatory satisfaction.

Lastly, I feel compelled to address the pricing of select menu items, which I perceive as slightly extravagant. While I wholeheartedly understand Chipotle's commitment to sourcing fresh and premium ingredients, a subtle adjustment to the prices would undoubtedly enhance the allure of the overall experience.

Despite these humble suggestions for improvement, I wholeheartedly endorse Chipotle as an ideal destination for a swift and gratifying meal. With minor tweaks, such as amplified portion sizes and the refinement of certain flavors, this establishment possesses the potential to transcend its current standing and deliver an even more extraordinary dining experience.

In conclusion, my voyage to Chipotle was an enjoyable one, and I deeply appreciate the dedication invested in cultivating an atmosphere that exudes warmth and hospitality. With a few subtle adjustments, this esteemed restaurant has the capacity to garner a higher rating from me in the future, as it continues to strive...

Chipotle Mexican Grill consistently delivers fresh and flavorful Mexican-inspired dishes that never disappoint. The quality of their ingredients is evident in every bite—everything tastes fresh, from the rice and beans to the grilled chicken and steak. I love how customizable the menu is; you can easily tailor your bowl, burrito, or salad to exactly what you want. The staff are always friendly and efficient, making the ordering process quick and easy even during busy times. Portion sizes are generous, offering great value for the price. Their commitment to responsibly sourced ingredients shows, and it makes dining here feel good on many levels. The salsas and toppings bar add an extra layer of flavor and spice to every meal. I’m a big fan of the guacamole—it’s creamy, fresh, and worth the extra cost. The restaurant is clean and well maintained, with a welcoming atmosphere that’s perfect for a casual meal. I appreciate how they cater to various dietary needs, with clear options for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free diets. The nutritional information is transparent, which helps me make healthier choices without sacrificing taste. Their online ordering system and app are user-friendly, making takeout or delivery hassle-free. The restaurant layout encourages quick service but still feels comfortable enough to sit and enjoy your meal. Every visit, I find new combinations to try and enjoy, which keeps the menu exciting. Their chips and queso are a great starter or side that never gets old. The staff regularly check to ensure everything is to your liking, which shows great customer care. Chipotle’s consistent quality and friendly vibe make it my go-to spot for a fast, satisfying meal. It’s a great place to grab lunch with friends or a quick dinner on the go. I highly recommend Chipotle Mexican Grill to anyone looking for fresh, tasty Mexican food with fast service. Overall, it’s one of the best fast-casual restaurants around, and I keep coming...

I rarely offer bad reviews but this one needs to be said. I’m hoping corporate or the owner of this franchise will read this. May 5, 2024 during lunch, we went to the Port Coquitlam location to enjoy a nice lunch at one of our favourite restaurants. During our order we had a very pleasant young woman who had begun to serve us when she was pushed aside by a man who was clearly in a hurry to get people served. He was quick, sloppy, disinterested in what he was doing. He instantly changed the energy in the line to something that was very confusing and quite negative. His engagement with the customers was non existent. He added my rice, beans and vegetables before aggressively sliding my bowl towards the young man next in line. The service for my husband who was next continued to be in this fashion. Then he just up and left the line and went off to another part of the restaurant. By the time I got to the cash register my husband and I were quite upset with this service. I asked “who was that guy”. They informed me he was the kitchen manager. Well now I was really mad. The service and energy he displayed is a disgrace to say the least. The rest of the staff display an attitude and service level in line with the level we have come to expect from Chipotle. It is clearly in spite of this manager and not because of him. I feel sorry for any staff who is subjected to work with or for this man. I hope this is a one off but if it is not, then I hope the owner of this establishment will recognize the liability that comes with this manager and act accordingly. We ended up leaving without our order and remained quite upset for some time as we found some other...
