Orrange Kitchen + Bar — Restaurant in Port Coquitlam

Strongly recommend check all reviews before heading this place cause the picture and decorations may deceive you. It was one the worse experience I have ever had in a restaurant.

I really disappointed with food and services and was thinking of writing a review then I saw one of the customer reviews that was exactly the same experience we had there. This is it:

Okay, so there are a few things that made me ask why are there so many good reviews when:

There service is terrible! I was greeted instantly, which was great but then they said to wait a moment before I could even say a word. Then I tried to get their attention for almost 20 minutes! They just kept ignoring me! **(He is right cause for us it took 15 minutes)

Then finally when I got my food, the burger was soggy, and was like half the size of any other burger **(ours was the same size of Macdonald) I have ever seen! The price should of been half of what it was for a burger that fit in the palm of my hand.

So if you want good service and decent portion sizes for a good price.... never go here!

The only reason it has good reviews I think is because if you are in poco, it’s one of the only decent looking places to go for food at night. But take a 10 min drive to somewhere better!

Furthermore after waiting an hour and two times mentioning that I don’t like sweet sauce they brought me...

Went to orrange with a group of 5 of us. We were seated promptly as there was only one other table in the restaurant. We sat at the table for 10 minutes and eventually the server returned to take our order but we were sat without menus nor a drink menu. She returned with menus and did not bring over waters that we ordered. We ordered our drinks and after waiting forever the server brought the drinks one at a time, leaving half of us without a drink waiting for the next one to be made. We let the server know about one of our guests having an allergy to pineapple and she set the only drink with pineapple juice right in front of the guest with the allergy. Food came out and it was not bad except for the long hair that came in the lettuce wraps. We waited for at least 20 minutes for the server to even come check on us to have the opportunity to say something about the hair. We had all finished our meals by the time they offered to bring something instead but we lost our appetite. Service was awful and we were excited to try orrange for the first time but they completely missed the mark for only having one other table in the restaurant and at least 3 service staff it was incredibly disappointing and...

My wife and I visited Orrange for the first time, a few hours ago. We were a few minutes earlier than our reservation, but were taken right to our table. Turns out Wednesdays are "half-price wine" nights, so my better half ordered a bottle of Saintly rose, while I had a Negroni. Both arrived quickly. The Negroni was tasty, but was garnished with a small wedge of orange outside the glass, rather than the having the strip of peel right in the drink. This is, seriously, the only even faintly negative thing I can say about the entire meal. We split the deep-fried pickles...fabulous and smoking hot! We both had the Ginger-Soy Chicken as the main, and it is a dish to rave about. Perfectly cooked and seasoned, and garnished with a sizable pile of thinly sliced fresh ginger that, when distributed over the chicken, took the dish into the nirvana zone. I couldn't resist the key lime pie, which is made in-house and is over-the-top delicious. Our server, Meagan, had perfect timing, and every staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful and welcoming. We don't get into that neck of the woods all that frequently, but we'll be coming back to Orrange the next...
