I had always been curious to visit this cafe, but my expectations fell short when it came to the service. Here's my detailed review:
Coffee: 7/10 I asked for a suggestion, and the staff recommended a latte. While the coffee itself was decent, it didn't stand out, just an average.
Ambience: 9/10 The cafe's atmosphere is delightful and cozy, making it a great spot to sit back and relax. It’s a place I’d otherwise love to return to for its aesthetic appeal.
Service: 5/10 Unfortunately, my experience with the service wasn’t great. I felt the staff member was in a rush, barely taking the time to engage in a conversation or make a proper recommendation. He placed an order on my behalf without properly consulting me and handed me the latte in a to-go cup, even though I hadn’t requested one. When I asked for the receipt, his demeanor shifted, and he seemed visibly annoyed.
Overall, I left feeling disappointed, as I had come to celebrate a personal achievement. The service felt different from what others around me were receiving, although I might have misinterpreted it. Nonetheless, I felt overlooked and underappreciated as a customer.

I got down to work on my lap top with my coffee. As the owner left, instead of asking if I wanted anything else (I had lost track of time and it was probably 45 minutes I’d been sitting), he pointed at his watch & reminded me that there was a 30 minute per drink rule for sitting in the cafe. My coffee was half finished & there was only one other person sitting in the shop, but I WAS committing an infraction of the 30 minute rule.
Slammed my lap top shut immediately—I had planned to order lunch but I don’t feel like they want my business!
Edited to add that if the owner has camera footage of me becoming “extremely angry” & the “others around” (only one other man was there, and he was two tables back), they are welcome to edit their reply with a YouTube link...

For starters, $6.20 for a medium (12 oz.) mocha with almond milk definitely didn't leave me feeling like I was receiving much in the way of value. The fact that it was lukewarm when I asked for extra hot didn't help much either.
