Green Olive Pizza — Restaurant in Port Coquitlam

We love, LOVE, Green Olive Pizza!! To be honest, I have never been a big fan of pizza, if I had it once or twice a year that was enough for me. Then our daughter said to me that we had to try this place, so we did. It is by far the best pizza I have ever tried in my 50 years of having pizza. The sesame crust is so full of flavour, the pizza had TONS of toppings, the tomato sauce wasn't too spicy, and there wass lots of cheese. When you take out a slice from the pizza, the cheese actually pulls into strings like you see on commercials, but never happens elsewhere. I was so impressed with this pizza that I actually asked to have it 2 days in a row! A lot of topping, sauce & crust options as well, and the prices are good too. Green Olive makes tasty pizza that's a touch pricey and not overly large. We ordered 4 pizzas using the 2 specialty pizzas deal twice over. They let you stack specials which is pretty cool and not very common amongst places offering specials. The bill was still at the upper end of pizza prices and the mediums were not very big but all of the pizzas were very good. And they were generous with the dips which is nice to see as well. Pizza style is traditional North American delivery, not Napoli thin but not New York/Chicago thick either. Menu is pretty deep, lots of great sounding toppings and delicious Italian meat options. Overall the experience was a good one. I would order again without hesitation. Really good pizza. I tried their pepperoni pizza and it was delicious. The sesame seeds on the crust made it even better. The staff are very friendly. Especially Sukhman, she was very kind and accommodated our requests. My daughter loved their "in-house" sauce. Definitely a must try. The place looked extremely clean and maintained.

Having worked in a big chain pizza store myself for 5 years, I know when it I taste a quality product. And such quality can only be achievable by locally owned pizza places like this one.
