Extremely Disrespectful Service - Will Never Return!
THE MAN SERVER WHO IS ALWAYS THERE !!!! SHAME ON YOUUUU!!!!! I would rate this restaurant a 0 if I could. The behavior of one particular server is completely unacceptable and has completely turned me off from ever returning. I’ve visited this place several times, and each time, this server has been consistently rude and unprofessional. He repeatedly ignores our requests, walks away without addressing our needs, and leaves us waiting for long periods.
Today, I asked him to split the bill, and he walked off without saying a word. When he returned with the receipt, he handed it to me in a condescending manner, saying, "Look at this." When I politely explained that his behavior was inappropriate (as I also work in the service industry), he shockingly responded, "I work here too, so why don’t you ever tip?" This was both unprofessional and completely out of line.
When I told him that his attitude was unacceptable, he told me I was "banned" from the restaurant and made rude hand gestures, telling me to "get out." This is beyond frustrating—no one should ever be treated like this, especially as a paying customer.
I’ve been a regular here, but after this experience, I will never return. I truly hope the management takes this seriously and addresses the behavior of this individual. This kind of customer service is appalling and has completely ruined my experience. I strongly recommend avoiding this place until they take the necessary steps to improve the behavior of their staff.

Food: The quality here is truly exceptional. I’ve been eating Japanese food for decades and have tried more sushi restaurants than I can count — but Miu stands above the rest. From the buttery fresh fish to the delicious matcha green tea, even a simple glass of water tastes pure. Everything is treated with care and precision, exactly what you’d expect from true Japanese culinary culture.
Service: Top notch. The staff have stayed consistent since opening, which says a lot. They’re friendly, attentive, and actually get to know their regulars. It’s always a warm and welcoming experience — never rushed or impersonal.
Atmosphere: My wife and I used to visit the restaurant that occupied this space before, and we were pleasantly surprised when Miu took over and completely renovated it. They brightened up the interior, added authentic Japanese design elements, and transformed it into a modern yet cozy dining experience. It’s tasteful, clean, and makes you feel like you’re in a boutique spot tucked away in Tokyo.

The server said after eating, the coupon is not valid for the entire meal. However the combo I ordered and the special roll were not discounted so the coupon should have applied. They said no. I questioned the coupon because I didn't initially understand what she meant. She was repeatedly rude and condescending for no reason. I proceeded to tell her it's not very clear and it's confusing. She spoke with the other woman in the back. They both came over and said we don't have to pay and they don't want us back. I was shocked. I was not cussing or rude, just caught off guard. I would never, not pay my bill and they refused to let me pay because I will not let my father pay for this after that experience. They didn't tell me how much it was and I left what I thought it was worth on the table. I've ordered there before lots but never been there in person. I will never go back, and I will never order there again, not because they asked me to but because they need a lesson in customer service before I ever re consider it.
