Horrible customer service

My family has been coming to Amigo for years; we have thoroughly enjoyed their good food and friendly service in the past. However, my husband and I had the most unpleasant experience from today’s server. When we entered the restaurant, the server yelled out “sit anywhere” and walked off. After we were seated, she came back and threw the menu and cutlery on our table and walked off. We had to call her over 3 times to finally place our order and continued to observe the server being unpleasant, short and rude to all of the patrons. When our food was ready, she came over to drop the plates on our table and walked off again without saying a word. I wasn’t expecting much and usually am not bothered too much by less than stellar service but this server’s attitude was unacceptable. I have never experienced such blatant rudeness.

When we were ready to leave and pay, my husband tried to make friendly conversation to the server despite her horrible attitude… unfortunately she continued with her rudeness and barked at my husband to “just tap your card” on the pin pad. When my husband asked why she was so upset, she said “look at how many people I have to deal with…you should fix your personality before talking to me”. Her attitude and response were totally unprovoked and uncalled for and needless to say we left with a very bad taste in our mouths. The food was tasty as usual but the horrible server left us with such a horrible experience that we will not be returning here for a while. The owner should really reconsider keeping her on the roster as she is chasing...

Was my first time going to this place and as soon as I walked in I wanted to walk out. The food was so so but the service was the worst service I have ever had. When I walked in all the lady said was sit somewhere and I was waiting for my friend to come and she was rushing me to order I told her I’m waiting for my friend. Once my friend came we ordered coffee and when we were ordering she kept messing up our order before she even made it away from our table. When the food came she just put the plates down and walked away. After we were done our food I went to go pay for our meal and then I went back to sit down and the lady comes back and says you didn’t give a tip was that a mistake. I told her no it wasn’t and I told her the service was bad and she’s like u have to give tip. So my friend gave her two dollars and we left.

Polite and friendly staff, clean place and tasty food. Walked in around noon on Sunday and place looked almost full, but two tables were available. We were greeted by a smiling staff member, and she NEVER lost her smile the whole time we were there. Found a table which wasn’t cleared or cleaned. This was resolved in short order Son ordered the two eggs with bacon, hashbrowns and toast. I ordered the scrambled eggs with ham and pancakes. The coffee was weak when black and cream did not help it at all. Service was attentive and my coffee barely made it to the bottom before a refill came. The food took about ten minutes, which is reasonable. The bacon was near perfect, the hashbrowns just about as good but the pancakes were 3 inches in diameter only browned on one side and slightly under done. We were in and out in little over ½ hour.
