This is the only restaurant that I would drive the distance for to get Persian food. It's a cute little take out place with a few tables if you choose to dine in. First thing, the owner who served us is very knowledgable when it comes to Persian food. That means he knows the delicacies of the different provinces and area of Iran that specialize in certain stews. So when you order a dish that's lets say from the south part, he'll let you know what kinds of flavours to expect. This applies to other regions and localities and their known dishes in that beautiful part of the world. So, if you are a foodie .....you're gonna love this place. The "Koobideh" is probably the most well known of all the Persian dishes. Theirs was really well done. Along other tasty seasoning items they also add parsley in the ground beef in the marinating stage which gives it that extra Yummm factor. It was juicy, perfectly seasoned, plenty with really tastefully designed extras as part of the meal....(see pic.) The Ghalieh Mahi is one of my personal favourites. This is a tricky dish to get right and they nailed it. This dish does collect slightly oil on top, but you can either stir it and it dissolves naturally in the stew, or remove it. The Owner Ron, asked me if I'd like to have it removed and he did so, which is such a credit to the wonderful customer service and attention to consideration of your customers. From the outside, the place has an irresistible aroma of Pizza as you walk by, but it's not your regular pizza. It's the smell of Persian Pizza which is quite different. If you have never tried Persian Pizza, you might want to. I think everyone who likes pizza should at some point try Persian style pizza. It's like giving your taste buds an acid trip ride to Pizza Nation (no actual acid trip indications....obviously..... :| ) Take a look at their menu. Honestly, I wanted to try everything. Every dish on the menu grabbed my attention. I had a hard time choosing, especially with the incredible smell of the damn pizzas. Had my stomach grumbling and my mouth watering. Next time. If you're in Vancouver, and this sounds enticing. Get in your car and go. Yes, it's worth it.

I’ve tried Ron’s Kitchen (Omega Pizza) several times now, and it’s consistently a great experience. Their food is delicious — especially anything with tahdig. The tahdig with lamb shank and tahdig with kabab are my absolute favorites — both are flavorful, well-cooked, and super satisfying. They also offer 10% off for online orders, which is a nice touch. However, the online ordering system isn’t very user-friendly, and you usually have to call them after placing your order to confirm — a bit inconvenient. Another small issue is the packaging, particularly for the tahdig. After about an hour, the bottom of the container can get oily and start to leak, so it’s best to eat it fresh or repackage if you’re taking it to go. That said, the prices are very reasonable compared to other similar restaurants — especially given the quality and portion sizes. Overall, highly recommend this spot if you’re craving Persian comfort food with great value. Just a couple of tweaks and it’d be perfect!

🌟 A Taste of Home at Ron’s Kitchen! 🌟 I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ron’s Kitchen, and I must say, it was a truly unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, the warm hospitality made me feel right at home. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that every part of our meal was perfect. Now, let’s talk about the food—absolutely outstanding! Their nostalgic Pizza and the Tah Dig with Gheymeh took me straight back to the beautiful memories of Iran. The flavors were authentic, rich, and reminded me of the comfort of home-cooked meals from back in our beloved country. It was like taking a delicious trip to Iran without ever leaving Vancouver! For all my fellow Persians in the area, I 100% recommend that you come and try this place for yourself. Ron’s Kitchen has truly captured the essence of Iranian cuisine, and I can’t wait to return! Thank you, Ron’s Kitchen, for a perfect meal and for bringing a slice of Iran to Vancouver!

Ron's Kitchen in Port Coquitlam is a true hidden gem! I've had the pleasure of trying their Tahdig & Gheymeh, Persian Special Pizza, and Persian Roast Beef in the past, and today I finally had their Kaleh Pacheh. As someone who is extremely picky about Kaleh Pacheh and usually avoids it, I was blown away—I fell in love with it and devoured every bit, brain and all!

The food is incredible. The flavors are authentic, the portions are generous, and the prices are fair—especially considering today’s economy.

Mr. Ron himself is one of the friendliest and most welcoming individuals I’ve met. He genuinely listens to what you’re craving and gives spot-on recommendations. The establishment is primarily a takeout spot with limited seating, but it’s clean, cozy, and inviting if you decide to dine in.

I would recommend Ron’s Kitchen to anyone looking for delicious Persian food and a warm, welcoming experience. This place has earned a loyal customer—I'll definitely be...
