I usually write honest reviews, and as a former food and beverage industry worker, I’ve never felt the need to leave a negative review until now. On October 18, 2024, I had an unusual and frustrating experience at this Starbucks drive-thru.
I ordered my usual drink and was met with upselling, which I politely declined. When I arrived at the drive-thru window, the worker didn’t acknowledge me and seemed distracted by other tasks. He handed me the payment machine in a way that made it hard to see the screen. To my shock, the total was $12.50 for just one drink!
After receiving my drink without any acknowledgment or thanks, I asked for my receipt. Upon reviewing it, I found a $5 tip had been added, which nearly doubled my total. I explained to the worker that I didn’t press a tip option, and he went to get a manager. They claimed I had accidentally selected the tip, but I reiterated that I hadn’t touched the machine at all.
While they eventually processed a refund, I was disappointed with how the situation was handled. Instead of taking responsibility, the staff implied it was my fault. I received one of my receipts back but am still unsure if the refund will be processed correctly.
I urge others to be cautious at this location and double-check their totals. Overall, this experience left me frustrated and concerned about their...
Read moreI’m deeply disappointed with my recent experience at this Starbucks location. I ordered a coffee for myself and a cup of milk for my child, only to find that the milk had ice in it, which I never requested. When I politely asked for a change, Elisa responded with an unprofessional and aggressive attitude.
Instead of placing the cup politely on the counter in front of me, as is usual, she almost threw it back on the counter, showing no regard for basic customer service. When I noticed the cup wasn’t full and asked why she was being so hostile, she grabbed it again, filled it the rest of the way with even more aggression, and still didn’t offer an apology. I was so shocked by her behavior that I asked to speak to a supervisor. That’s when she told me, “Actually, I’m the supervisor.” I couldn’t believe that someone in a supervisory role would behave this way.
I’ve always appreciated the way Starbucks treats its customers, so this experience was both surprising and disappointing. This level of hostility is unacceptable in any customer service setting. No customer should have to endure this kind of treatment, especially for something as simple as ordering a drink. I will be reporting this to the head office, as it’s crucial that staff in customer-facing roles handle situations with care...
Read moreThis Starbucks is the reason why I like drive thru. Last Saturday the drive thru was packed so I decided to go inside. Bad idea!! The young lady that took my order was very polite, friendly, knows the products and she understood time line. I ordered a Frapp & Croissant. I received the Croissant in a time manner, them waited around 20 mins for my drink. There was a guy working that shift and after every transaction he would sanitize his hand and he was the ONLY one doing that. The Barista making the drinks decided to to a order that came in after me. So I said that guy came in after me and he's already receivedbreceived his orders. She looked at me and continue make another drink. Another Barista had to come and say it's there sitting infront of the RUDE Barista. She looked at me and I looked at her and walk out. All the vehicle that were in the drive thru that was there when I went in already left!! Never will I every go inside that store again!! Drive thru gets...
