Fast food, super friendly and thoughtful staff. My original post! My addition. I have been in Port Hope for just over a year, awaiting immigration during Covid. I have walked and rode my bike through, Arbys drive-thru a number of occasions. My 2nd last visit I walked through with my dog. A lady said I probably didn't weigh enough for them to know I was there, she said just walk up to window to place your order, which I did. My dog and I got our order and sat at seats out front to eat. The lady who told me to go to the window, worked there and brought out a small cup of water for my dog. It was extremely thoughtful and I didn't want her to think it was greatly appreciated. I had gotten her a thank you card a few days later. I hadn't been back for a while but it was a beautiful day and we were nearby. I went up to the drive-thru and on the speaker I heard "Can I take your order, Greg and Max"? I was who do I know at Arbys? It was 2 women, 1 who I got the card for a few weeks ago. We had a great little visit, it wasn't busy, Max got a treat and a bowl of water. I apologize for my rambling but it is the small things that make businesses stand out. Both these ladies were amazing. If I wasn't moving in 9 days, I would eat here anytime. These two women brightened my day and I would recommend...

it's not the first time I've eaten at Arby's, and i think it was also the port hope branch for my first 2 visits.. not sure if anybody noticed, once you try any sandwhich that has the sliced beef, they all taste the same almost -i think I've tried 4 different ones.. mind you i like it, but I'm not sure if it's just me, or the menu is.. just a distraction! anyway ample parking, i think this place has been renovated so it looks/feels nice inside.. the food, is a different story. truth is, this place is more of a 3.5 than a 4.. the food always, without fail, never looks like the ones in the marketing pictures. (compared to other fast food, this one disappoints, visually -which is something corporate office can address?) the girlfriend and i tried the "arbynator"(2 for $11) and the wagyu burger (meal) with the montreal poutine... all in all, a little over $40, and they stopped (or never did, i forgot) taking amex.. visa and mastercard are 'ok'... i guess the soda is refillable which is nice. if it's not -wooooops! oh, the staff are nice enough.. had they been rude or dismissive, this would have been a 3 or a 2 star.. lol there are other worse places to eat in port hope

i just wish they could work on the visual appeal of the actual food.. i mean, look at...

I do enjoy Arby's from time to time and I am normally a five-star review for Arby's. I only went with four stars this time because of the two people at the drive-thru. One of them was brand new I believe or just in way over their head did not seem very confident or know much of what was going on. The other one was in no way rude at all but just very plain introverted didn't seem to want to be there not what you'd expect for people that work with the public. It's the first one was brand new the second one definitely did not seem to be very helpful in the training of that person. They were both fairly young and I know kids today are much different than the way those of us that are around 50 were when we were young or I guess any age group probably over 40 were when they were younger. I guess I just don't understand why you would take a job dealing with the public and you obviously don't want to deal with the public you don't expect them to be super friendly and bubbly but just a little bit of Personality...

Was in Port Hope and decided to head over to Arbys since they have literally disappeared from within greater Ontario. 2 words- Horsey sauce. Sad instead of individual packets you'd get in the past, you now need to pump out the Horsey sauce into little paper cups for your sandwiches. I would collect these packets in the past and use them for everything, sandwiches, hot dogs, fish, anything that moved, alas, no more. Went with the 2 roasted garlic roast beef sandwiches w/ lettuce/tomato for $11. Ah, the texture and flavor profile of the thinly sliced roast beef like meat was intoxicating. Added curly fries and a self service drink. Worth the 100km drive. Why o why Arby's cannot open any new branches closer to Markham, life is not fair

Arby’s never disappoints. Their curly fries are hands-down the best—crispy, seasoned, and totally addictive. I always go for the classic beef and cheddar sandwich, and it hits every time. And don’t even think about skipping the Arby’s sauce—it’s a must! Great food, fast service, and serious comfort food vibes.
