Dirty and unsafe food handling

Older woman working there needs to be fired!!

Walked out with soaking wet shirt and was leaning all over the subs she was making. So gross!!

While attempting to make bacon she dropped it on the floor on the wax paper as she was attempting to put in the oven. She picked it back up with her gloves off the floor.. struggling to get it off the floor and was going to put contaminated dirty food in the oven for an online order and they would have been none the wiser.

I called her out on it. Told her I would not eat that. That it was on the floor!!! She said "no it was not!!" And that it did not touch the floor 🙄 I looked straight at her and said we all saw you drop it and pick it back up! She then threw down the bacon and tray in a huff like a child throwing a temper tantrum and swore at me.

I left. No way in heck I would eat there. Poor food handling and horrible customer service!! The vibe she gave off was horrible.

Yes I called her out for unsafe food handling. I'll be calling to get a food and health inspection as well.

Visited during a group 4x4 trip. When we got to the front of the line, my girlfriend and I noted that there were several flies surrounding the sandwiches that were being built. I went ahead and ordered our food, and unsurprisingly it became the fly’s next meal. The fellow building them looked at the fly several times and just didn’t care. When I finally pointed it out, he just swatted it away. I told him I didn’t want the sandwhich anymore and he looked at me like I was causing such an inconvenience by wanting a clean sandwich. He asked in an extremely rude tone if I still wanted the wrap my girlfriend ordered which id been watching closely. “Well was there a fly on it?” I asked.

Absolutely disgusting, and unfortunately it’s the only subway out this way. Will also be contacting Interior...

The first time ever going to a subway since the 1990s the fellow at the counter refused me service because I wanted no meat contamination due to allergies to preservatives, I requested veggies that weren’t contaminated with meat which was clearly visible in the veggie trays from making earlier sandwiches and the fellow basically said “no I won’t do it”, I asked politely and was told that this is not subway policy and he won’t do it. I’m a professional driver and eat at subway 2 to 3 times a week and have been to this location numerous times in the past but never again.
