Shore Restaurant — Restaurant in Qualicum Beach

Great little find while driving around. It was convenient and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We had the fish tacos which left us feeling like they needed something....not sure what but maybe a splash of hot sauce or something to give them a zing. Not bad just didn't have any wow factor. The cod fish and chips were good. We had a Pineapple and vanilla swirl in a cup and it was delicious! The mango smoothie and lemonade smoothie were good as well. We also had a bottle of water. Total bill $55. Only gave 4 stars because the price seems pretty high for the items we bought. The fish tacos had no side (ex. Fries would be good) but cost $15 so felt that was way over priced considering it was a bit bland. All in all I would eat here again if I was hanging beach side but I doubt I would go out of my way to eat there again. The food was ok so maybe give them a try and decide for yourself on...

My husband and I went to Shore for a light dinner, so we ordered and shared fish and chips, and had our own dessert; mine was a “Typhoon” choice—a chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream in a cup while hubby got a Dole whipped ice cream in a cone 🍦. The batter for our cod fish was light and crispy, and the fries for our chips were cut slightly thick like in England. It also came with plenty of malt vinegar packets which we appreciated. It was decently priced at $20-something dollars and $9 cheaper than at Red Fish, Blue Fish in Downtown Victoria. Staff were warm and friendly, and managed the long line ups during the dinner rush. There were plenty of orders from people with a “John” or “Jon” first names that evening, so it was pretty funny. We will come back here again as we enjoyed the lively atmosphere and warm and quick...

This is literally my first google review ever, but I want to share my story today.

I forgot my iphone on the bench beside of this restaurant and one guy picked up my iphone and gave it to this restaurant. Staffs kept my iphone although I wasn’t a customer. I just went this restaurant to check if my phone is there because the Find My showed me it’s somewhere around this restaurant. They checked what was my wallpaper and gave it back to me. I really appreciate the guy who dropped my phone to this restaurant and the staffs. Thank you so much guys.

After I found my phone, I got really hungry and ordered a chocolate milk shake, french fries, and shrimp taco. Everything was very delicious and fresh. And the view was amazing! I hope lots of people stop by this restaurant and enjoy the nice view, awesome...
