Beach House Restaurant — Restaurant in Qualicum Beach

I will never go back!!. Went there with family and my two kids ages 7 and 9, waited almost 2 hours for the food and it was gross and cold. 2 hours is a long time to wait for food especially with kids. That time is unacceptable. I don't mind paying high prices if the food is good but it was not. They even charged for lemon sauce for the Lemon chicken. It didn't come with it sauces were extra. Waitress did not care about customer service and had ear pods in the whole time and had an atitude. I always tip but we didn't in this situation. My son got the pizza and spring rolls the pizza came cold and was the one you buy in the box at the store heated up the cheese wasn't even melted. It was overall disgusting!. They lost returning customers it used to be so good but has gone downhill. I don't recommend especially if your going with kids!. To give you an idea how bad it was my son who is 9 is a human garberator who eats all day and he didn't finish his food. He ate maybe a quarter and then asked if he had...

My friend and I had a delicious lunch today at the Beach House Cafe and it is just fabulous. We hadn't been here for a while since our last visit wasn't a pleasant one about a year ago...the cafe seemed run down and dirty. We were advised to go back again by a friend since there are now NEW OWNERS. The cafe is now spotless, bright and cheery with a fresh coat of paint and a lovely decor...apple green, black and white. I had a delicious salmon burger (the red salmon a generous size) and my friend the beef burger and the fries are home cut and scrumptious as fries SHOULD be. All in all we HIGHLY RECOMMEND.......the view is outstanding and the staff friendly, efficient and very welcoming. Perfect lunch. We will go back again and again...can't wait to see and sit on the deck...

This restaurant has it all! Great food and the BEST view in Qualicum Beach. The patio literally looks down at the ocean! They were closed for a few months in the summer for some updates and renovations and now the place looks great inside and out. Chef Chris honors the old Beach House Café with some traditional German dishes and wows us with us some new ones on a regular basis. The staff is friendly and very professional and Simona the owner/manager is charming and resourceful. We look forward to our next visit and are glad to see that things are back to normal AND better than ever. Cheers to the Beach...
