Brûlerie Rousseau | Rue Bouvier — Restaurant in Quebec

This is the only café in Quebec City that satisfies all my criteria:

Good espresso (allongé) Comfortable seating in spacious environment (virtually no students hoarding the place) Amicable service workers (baristas, etc.)

I love the U-shaped corner seat in particular. Because this shop is in industrial area, there is not usually a lot of people at the same time, which allows me thoroughly enjoy this quiet café from time to time, whenever I need break from the monotony of my own (still brilliant) home-office. A change in environment can shift one's thoughts & ideas.

I've only tried the coffee here, so cannot comment...

Definitely feels elevated with their great coffee, pastries, and very warming services. They saw me taking a pic of their roastery in the back and came out to ask me (I thought I was in trouble, lol) if I would like to see their machinery and their proud coffee storage.
