Very upsetting encounter with a waitress who had to make it very clear that we didn’t tip enough. She said with a 5% tip the staff are paying for us to eat there. Which is of course not true. No staff pays for customers. She then kept going about how she only gets 10$ an hour. Very embarrassing and disrespectful to lecture a customer at the table with other people around especially when a large bill was being paid for others. Food was okay. Nothing special. I spent less than 30 min eating there but the waitress had to make it clear that somehow I was responsible to pay for her life choices and decisions to be a waitress which is not appropriate. Bringing me a plate of pizza and a coke from the kitchen to my table isn’t worth of greater than 8$ tip she received. Especially since I received nothing else from her. Disrespecting your customers is a lame business move. Wouldn’t...
Read moreTheir pizza is very great representation of a Neapolitan Italian pizza!! So fresh that I would only recommend you eat there. By the time you get home for take away the pizza crust gets soggy. We have about a 7 minute walk to there and our pizza or calzones get soggy and the crust is not crispy by the time we get home. It’s still very flavorful and delicious though. But it shows how fresh their product is, that is what real homemade pizza is like. If a pizza stays crispy it usually has some sort of preservative within the dough. The tomato sauce is very fresh tasting as well. Their 2 person salad was very large and actually can feed 2 people heartily, maybe even 3 people. Although we had the Caesar salad one, we didn’t like it much, the dressing was extremely thick and tasted strongly of anchovies. But it was homemade and a decent size. And the staff their was...
Read moreBurrata was ok. A little expensive for what you got. Wished it had a drizzle of balsamic or something to offset the rich and creamy taste. The pizzas were ok, too. Margarita was a little burnt (too much black/char on the crust) and wife and kids wouldn't eat the crust. Prosciutto pizza didn't have enough to actually have some with each slice. Service was very nice and polite and it was a nice little outdoor patio to eat at. Overall above average, if expensive...
