Fat Bastard Burrito Co. — Restaurant in Quinte West

We love Fat Bastard. My husband and I visit the Oshawa and Cobourg location either every Friday or Sunday, but always twice a week, when we bring the kids back and forth from Trenton to Oshawa. The consistency between those two locations is ON POINT. We live in Frankford, and decided to stop into the Trenton location after a late evening doctor's appointment in Carrying Place, we were both starving and both said "oh heck yeah, we want FB".

Wrong place to visit when you're hoping for what you've come to expect from the chain. My husband always gets a roasted chicken burrito (half the amount of chicken) and I always get a shrimp bowl, lettuce for the base and extra noodles. This location managed to mess them both up, giving us food with no flavor, undercooked noodles and shrimp that were clearly salad shrimp and not the usual juicy plump ones the other locations use. We actually both threw out our whole order after two bites. The noodles were literally plain boiled spaghetti, pasty and flavorless. My shrimp had no flavour to them and were about the size of a dime. I asked for a bit of extra burrito sauce on top of the shrimp and they could have swam in the amount he put on. I asked for an extra line or two...not half the bottle. My husband couldn't understand why his burrito had no flavour, where it is typically always his highlight of the night when we order. I'm assuming the seasoning wasn't added at the same level the other locations use....

The skimpy flavourings, the obviously not spec shrimp, the poor preparation overall for the add-ons and sauces prove that this location doesn't care about the franchise's standards and expectations. We won't return to...

Tonight is the last night I go to this location. Ordered a huge ground beef on white , it was maybe the size of a big maybe less. I was getting big bits of of just empty bread the portions was very small did not fill the burrito up and I have gotten from there and other places before, it was my favorite place to go that would put me into a food coma. The employee said she is the manager the whole time she was talking on the phone with ear buds in while heating up my burrito probably spitting on it. Not impressed did not feel well after thinking about this. Won't be returning to this location again. I hope other customers take my advise!

We got dinner here. Every one here is hindi you really can't understand them because broken english. You can't hear them talk some speak to fast. There was so much going on. After my chicken was cooked it sat in the bowl in the back for 10 minutes. Chicken was cold and dried out. There is no system to port your food to you they just yell out the order till some answers. I feel that if you want to open a business you should require one year of english studies in Ontario. Watched every one working and saw they were trying there best to keep up.
