We had coupons from Kiwanas cash calendar. BOGO on a large pizza.I called Dominoes to see how to redeem them. He didn't know but asked me to order what I wanted online, and if couldnt redeem it on the website to call him back. I was able to order a large 4 topping for 12.99, but not able to redeem the coupon. I called back and reached the same guy, Jonah. He said he would make another pizza, and to bring in the coupon. Good
I arrived and mentioned my order # and gave the guy at the cash my coupon. He said, what is this? I explained it all to him, and he told me I am not saving any money by giving him the coupon, that they would be charging full price for the first pizza. That's when I asked where the other pizza was. He didnt know. I told him I was speaking with Jonah, and he took the pizza he had on the cash counter and threw it back on the warmer.
When Jonah came over, he explained that they would have to charge full price for the first pizza. I said that wasnt explained, but that's fine. The 12.99 pizza came to $24 and change. He found the other pizza on the top rack of the warmer. I paid and took them home.
First thing I notice is that we ate the 12.99 pizza first. It was very scant on ingredients, and I was disappointed by the quality of the pizza. However; the 24$ pizza had twice the amount of ingredients on it and this one had a decent amount of cheese. It was almost twice the pizza that the $12.99 one was.
I have been a regular Dominoes customer for 30 years now since I started buying from them in Moncton in 1992. This was a bad experience. I feel that the quality and quantity are lacking, and was so hoping they would be my regular place for pizza since we used to go all the way into McAllister Drive to get them. I ordered online at 1pm and they decided to cancel my order. I boarded an airplane and expected my kids to get the delivery. They canceled it because they tried to call me while I was on the plane (phone was on air plane mode). I received a confirmation email but I did not receive an email to tell me they canceled it. When I landed my kids had waited 8 hours for pizzas. I tried to call and replace the order but the employees repeatedly made rude remarks, told me I can call tomorrow to order pizza, and that they were going to cancel the order that I had already placed for the next day. I logged in from my account and placed an order to the same address as usual, there's not any reason for them to cancel it on me. But what was far worse was how they handled it. Rude, arrogant, deferring, resistant to let me just place an order.. and when they finally took my order-they commented to not put my phone on airplane mode again.
