Booster Juice — Restaurant in Red Deer

I had not realized until this point that this booster juice location is actually a nightclub with too much lighting and grumpy people working. The music was cranked and was easily as awful as any music you would hear in a nightclub. I accidently knocked over their Jose Batista cut out and I told the girl " I'm sorry, I hope I didn't hurt him". She stared blankly at me and then said "what????". And I proceeded to explain it was a joke as she looked annoyed and lost as to what I was saying.. I should however give her the benifit of the doubt. Perhaps she couldn't hear me over the music. Won't be back to this booster Juice. I drink booster Juice almost everyday so I'll admit it won't hurt booster juice as a whole but I certainly hope it hurts this business if...

It took 22 minutes to get my drink. They're super duper obviously under staffed. This is obviously not the employee's fault, in fact the women working the counter were lovely. Unfortunately there were only two people working trying to do: cash, drinks, food, and dishes. I felt really bad for them, because it was obvious that they were working as hard as they could and they were still stuck in the weeds. If the franchisee reads this, you need at least one more staff member working that location. If not just for the wellbeing of your employees, you should know that it's impossible to maintain good food safety when you're that slammed. I went with my boyfriend this morning (Booster Juice on 22 ave and 51st, red deer, alberta) and I didn't notice until we left but the awesome woman working drew a little rose on the lids of our cups instead of the name rose (🌹) (my name is Rose and that's the name we gave for the order). It was such a small thing, but it made my day and I just wanted to give her a shout out. It was a wonderful little surprise and it's small things exactly like this that make a place memorable.
