I had a 45 people party booked and the restaurant did a remarkable job! The entire meal went very smoothly, we pre ordered pizza for the team and pre ordered the meals for the families as well. The management team(I had direct contact with the general manager) was very very pleasant to work with, they emailed me back and forth the previous days beforehand to make sure everything went as smooth as possible, as well as called the day off to make sure any last minute kinks were worked out before we arrived. I briefly spoke to the manager on duty before I left and she was amazing. Our server, Arlyn, did an amazing job. She was focused, easy to get along with, approachable, she let us know what was happened and ensured the happiness of the party. She has been one of the best servers I have a had in a long time. She kept us in on the lines of communication as well, she let us know when she left to print the bills off so we didn't look for her then. She was highly professional and a great server overall. The kitchen also did a great job. All product that was coming out was consistent and appealing to the eye as well, typically when things get busy presentation starts to decline, but the back of house team did a remarkable job on presentation. The pizza's were wonderful. I ordered a Memphis Chicken Sandwich without the memphis sauce or ranch and the back of house staff accommodating my modifications correctly even with a 45 people reservation. All in all the restaurant did an amazing job, I have no complaints and I would recommend using BP South as a place for big parties. They were immensely organized and very...
Read moreVisited this location Aug.1/22/6:00pm, specifically for dietary and mobility issues of my friends parents. The bar side was not accessable for mobility reasons. The restaurant side was chaos. Sadly they were short staffed. Condensed version: There was huge disconnect between front staff & kitchen, meals came out one at a time. One meal was missed completely, and delivered upon our departure. Our drinks had unidentified objects at bottom of glass. We were told it was oreo cookies that fell into ice bin. While we were very patient, polite, understanding and our girl Jorga was sweet, busted her butt the best she could, this was the most bizarre experience ever. Patrons who were seated after us had been served and left before our meals (3 of 4) had arrived. The restaurant manager didn't appear to know what she was doing and didn't support her staff. I have worked in the industry & understand how quickly things can go sideways. This though, I had never experienced. My friend said it was like being ushered into a greasy midway ride you didn't want to be on. The 3 of 4 meals were served hot, and a thumbs up. 2.5hs total visit. And one guest no dinner until leaving. It wasn't convenient for us to converge at a different BP location, if we could have we would have. Big time! The servers were ran off their feet, with no direction. We had time to watch the chaos and the manager/head waitress(?) appears to have next to no ability to lead her team. The pub side has never disappointed in previous visits. Ethan is awesome. Will not return to...
Read moreMy family and I arrived just before 2pm on a Saturday. The restaurant was not busy, and there was at least 5 front-end staff on duty. We had to wait 5 minutes to get a table (which wasn't a big deal), while the staff stood around the front desk confused as to where they should put us. We were finally shown a table, and given menus. The staff proceeded to completely ignore us, and did not ask us if we wanted any drinks. All my family had figured out what we wanted to order, and waited for a server to come take our order. No one came. All the staff seemed to be hiding in the back, as we could not even wave anyone over. At this point, we had been sitting for almost half an hour (and still not drink orders even taken). I finally stood up and told my family we should walk out and go elsewhere. 3 of the 6 of us stood up, two staff members came out and stood by the cash register, looked over at us, and proceeded to ignore us again. So my whole family got up and as we were walking out, one staff member came out to clean a different table near us and said, "oh you're leaving?" and I said, "Yes, we are incredibly unhappy as no one came to serve us." She said, "Oh sorry", and proceeded to walk away. This was the worst I have ever been treated at a restaurant. I don't understand how a restaurant that only had 2 other tables occupied and over 5 front-end staff couldn't manage to even acknowledge their customers. I will not be returning to this...
