TacoTime — Restaurant in Red Deer

For the Gaetz location specifically, I don’t believe their five star bribery an appropriate judgment of their service. While the place is extraordinarily clean, excluding bathrooms, I wouldn’t say it’s worth it to be so dishonest for a simple fountain drink or crusto. What I’m referring to is the fact that my sister and I waited for thirty entire minutes for a simple order of two mexi fries with literally noone else in the store. We stood in front of the counter so as to make sure they didn’t forget our order and had to pace to keep our blood flowing. I thought stopping at tacotime really quick to sate our tater tot cravings were okay, until the customers that had already begun eating had well beyond finished and had driven home by the time we got our meal. We understand that some days are a little more rough than others, however, I find it hard to excuse when there are five employees behind the counter and no order whatsoever for an entire half hour out of my day, hence my review. I give 5 stars for this particular branch because of our server that day. My husband and I were discussing what we wanted to have and the gentleman at the cashier immediately picked up what we wanted not to mention that he had this sweet smile on his face. After a long day travelling around and from Calgary to Red Deer that day, this made my day.

I’m not so good with names but I hope i remember it right, Mauri(?). He was pleasant, enthusiastic, and even for a casual fast food restaurant, I feel like he showed us exemplary service.

We ordered through Uber. Driver went to a different house. We weren't near our phone for a second there but someone from "Uber" was able to get hold of us saying that the driver is lost. Im just wondering why does your drivers specifically from Uber screws up almost all the time looking for the address when other Apps that has to either get us from the house or deliver to us can do it right? Not only you guys took the money but you also got the food. Really? What kind of scam are your driver's pulling up? Such a money grabber...
