We were here on December 1st for the Victorian Christmas it was fantastic I highly recommend it. The house is big and beautiful it was very well decorated for Christmas. I first learned about the Victorian Christmas supper,10 years ago and have always wanted to try the Victorian Christmas supper. The 5 courses were all really good the beef pie crust was fantastic. I made the champagne jellies for our Christmas and my partner figured out how to make the napkin Christmas trees and set our Christmas table exactly the way they set the table, it was fun to bring a little bit of Victorian Christmas to Christmas 2023. They only do the supper one or two nights in December. And a slightly different menu every year. It is definitely something that we would do again. We stopped in for tea for two a couple of years ago and it was a perfect lunch it's a quiet place in a beautiful location definitely a hidden gem...

Delightful building! The staff were open to my using the staff/ additional spaces where couches were present to feed my newborn and do bathroom needs for our little family as we're trying to do EC.

Only downside is that it seemed like the staff did not have an understanding of what celiac meant in the catering of the food for our event - despite our party having given them a month's notice on the dietary needs. Was so excited to go to this "tea house" !! I order "tea for me". Menu says fingerling sandwiches and sweets. I have been to several tea houses before and that is exactly what it is, light and fresh. Well i got a toasted B LT! a piece of brownie, a macaroom, and a one inch square of a banana bread!! This was not my idea of "tea".
