I dont know how this place has good reviews it was hands down the worst place i have ever eatin in and the service was terrible. 4 of us went on a saturday night and we had a reservation for 6 oclock for a booth that we had made a week earlier for my sisters birthday and when we get there they know nothing about the booth so we get a table with crappy old uncomfortable chairs. I forget exactly what the other ordered but i wasnt that hungry to i ordered a ceaser salad which was $18.95 we waited a hour and a half to get our meals. they had brought 2 of the people i was with their ceaser salad after about 10 minutes then they waited another hor and 20 minutes for their main course. I waited the full 90minutes for my salad which was basically a big bowl of iceberg lettece with exactly 2 crutons and no cheese or anything else and a tiny tiny bit of dressing. that was $18.95 and took 90 minutes i could have driven to the grocery store went home made a better salad and ate it in less time. 2 of the others could not eat most of their fries they were so soggy. worst place ive ever ate at in my life. nothing like the greek restaurants ive eatin at in b.c. Amazing, amazing, amazing! We were big fans of this restaurant before but today was our first time there since the new owners took over and wow, just wow! They took an already great product and made it even better. They did some minor but effective renovations by opening up the space, giving it a good scrub and a fresh coat of paint. The portions are bigger and the food tastier. My husband had the Moussaka, as always but now there was far more meat in it. Our salads were bigger and there’s more of those delicious Greek potatoes on the plate. I had my usual, the Athenian Chicken and was not disappointed; twice the sauce as before…which is basically crack! We topped it off with a delicious and I mean delicious Galaktoboureko (custard filled Phyllis pastry). Man oh man was it good and it was big enough for the two of us. To top it all off the service was top notch. Our waitress was pleasant and quick. The new owner personally greets you and genuinely wants you to enjoy his restaurant.
