First time here. We saw a lot of social media post and wanted to try them as we’re waiting for our car to get fixed by Banauwe Auto.

We were hesitant at first because of the price range but were surprised that the serving is good for 2!

The dinuguan has the perfect blend and taste. Im picky with dinuguan as i tried many sellers around red deer and the “timpla” is far from what I grew up in. Love the dinuguan here!

The bicol express was sooo good! Instead of the traditional small pork cuts, they serve it with a huge chunk and you can taste the bagoong. “Di tinipid”!

Haven’t had Filipino food from a restaurant that we enjoyed quite like this, food was so good! We ordered the pork barbecue combo, lomi, and the Laing combo, also ordered “Isaw“. All of the dishes were super yummy! Our server was super friendly and nice, she was very busy she forgot to charge us for the isaw, we had to go back to pay for it. We live in red deer 2 yrs ago, we back here for 2 weeks for work, and we miss jake restaurant and grill..we went today to buy chopsuy and bopis..chopsuy is so good..bopis a little bit salty and sour though..portion is fair for the price.. staff are friendly and accommodating, clean restaurant, highly recommend..i hope next time they have delivery like door dash and skip the dishes..because jake is the best filipino authentic food...
