Terrible service terrible food terrible manager or supervisor McDonald’s is progressively getting worse on every occasion I get it (not a lot of food options when occasionally having to work in the middle of the night) but having to deal with receiving cold poor quality food and a supervisor or manager who refuses to listen to customer issues and closes window when you’re trying to explain what your issue is doesn’t help resolve any anything so with that level of professionalism for a superior team member shows very clearly they don’t care and they aren’t going to try and make any of the other employees care anymore about the issue. But why would they care? It’s not like it’s their hard earn dollar that’s been spent and wasted on their poor service?
With this level of professionalism from management the business will continue to get worse. Months ago I decided I will stop giving my money to Tim hortons and I did. After tonight I have now officially decided I will never give my hard earned money to any McDonald’s establishment.
Thanks for nothing. Not convenient/poor quality/raising cost in prices/not worth my time and effort to spend time/money there especially if the employees behave in the same manner.
Where I come from if you went to a McDonald’s late in the night you might have to wait 15 mins or so for your food but it is ok and worth the wait as it was warm fresh made properly with proper portioning of ingredients.
I didn’t even get to talk to management about all the issues with my food. Honestly I was shocked to see for the first time ever I had received the fries half were under cooked pale cold and floppy while other half of the fries were literally black chard burnt. How do they manage that combination? I would assume by not using proper cooking techniques the restaurant should have in place and be training employees to follow. But after the service I experience I would suspect there is little to no diligent training of staff being managed in the building because at the end of the day who cares it’s not their money and it’s just McDonald’s anyways. Read moreI'm never impressed with this location. I just went through the drive through and the lady who took my order kept cutting me off while taking my order. Then at the first pay window the young man was frustrated that I didnt move forward fast enough (I was putting my credit card back in my wallet and no one was behind me). Then at the pick up window the young girl with the long blond hair was visibly annoyed when I asked for a drink tray. She then abruptly told me to move ahead to wait for my order, no thank you, no smile, no eye contact, no nothing. 9 minutes later I was handed my order and my large fries were not filled up as usual. I showed the girl how to open the fry package up all the way and asked her to fill up the two I purchased. At least this one was cheerful and said sure! She then handed them back to me in a new bag and they were still not full. This is a common occurance with the fries at this location, I might as well buy a small, but at least the order was correct this time. When I got home I noticed that my big mac wasn't assembled correctly, looked like they just threw stuff at the box. Read moreUp until today, I had always told my friends and acquaintances that the McDonalds at Golden West Red Deer was one of the best. The late night staff were truly wonderful and I went away with a smile always. When I had an issue in the day, the manager ( a lady) fixed it and again, I left smiling. HOWEVER, all that good was slashed in one day. I ordered my usual morning purchase including a large ice water!. For the first time ever, I was REFUSED. I could have a small one but would be charged for a large. Every time I have gone there in the last 2 years I have ordered a large ice water. Often, I chose McD and this particular for that reason. I asked how much to purchase the large cup (at another fast food place, I'm charged 10 cents for the cup) ... I was told I had to pay full price as if I purchased a soft drink. I was stunned. I canceled my order and any further orders. I know my little custom is not important to a multi million company, but that is the only power I have. It's truly sad that they could reflect excellent customer service for a long time and have it destroyed by one person.
