We went through drive thru, I ordered a med fries, a med hot chocolate. We waited 10 min after we got part of our order for thee drinks. The fries were cold b the time we got our drinks. They gave us a large fries, a large hot chocolate, and they charged us for it. I asked for a few creamers and told the drive thru attendent it was for the hot chocolate as it's too hot for me to drink He gave my husband 1 creamer. My husband called to him 3 times to get his attention for his drink, and for more creamers, he gave my husband one more. I tried to go inside to have the order corrected and the door was locked. The drive thru attendent was rude and careless and uncooperative. This is typical of this particular McDonald's. The manager there really needs to work with his staff on customer service. What a shame it is this way, when I starting working at McDonald's 40 years ago, they were known for their customer service. They also timed us regularly to ensure 30 second service at the drive thru, and all orders completely correct. That was making everything from scratch, no microwaves or precooked product getting stale in the warmers they have now. McDonald's in general has forgotten their roots. I used to say with pride it was my first job there. I wouldn't dare tell anyone younger than myself that. Today saying that is like saying I learned how to be sloppy and slow and don't care about the customers for most visits. Read moreMy wife and I just went there for dinner an hour ago, my burger had a pile of onions on it even though the tag on it said no onions. That's an easy fix for them I know. ...no big deal. But my wife's quarter pounder came with the one edge visibly raw......not even pink, red and bloody! I showed it and my burger to the swing manager on shift, and she blamed it on the patty processor. I told her that if that was so, how did it end up being served. I understand that automation sometimes isn't perfect, but the cook had to see it was raw while putting it on the bun and putting cheese on it. The thing that really caught me off guard is that obviously no one on staff nor the swing manager has their food safe, because the swing manager actually took both burgers back into the kitchen and put them right on the food prep area to show the cook. I pointed out to her that that's a big no no in food safety and that if I was a food inspector she would be facing a big fine. She smiled and said she knew. It's hard to blame the staff if you have supervisors with such little reguard to food handling regulations. I have a background in kitchen management and from what I saw here today, the whole shift would have been relieved of their duties. It's a sad day for fast food when one of the biggest and most reputable brands has locations that clearly disregard policies and procedures. If I could leave review with 0 stars, I would.. Let’s start from my order. I ordered strawberry pie and 2 peppermint tea via the app, we did drive thru and lady near window tried to explain me that they don’t have any strawberries pie, but not in English, in language which I don’t know. anyway first of all, why they still have it in theirs app? I didn’t get anything instead.
Instead of peppermint tea, we got green tea. I have lots of questions. App was made for making our order easier, they’re hiring people who doesn’t know English, and by the end, ordering even with app is tough, because they’re doing your order wrong. My tea contains caffeine now and I can’t drink it. I didn’t get pie and 2 right teas. I got stress and no wish to go there anymore. It’s only 4$, I “thru that out”, but more disappointing is understanding that McDonald’s now it’s not about easy ordering and getting something right. I always have problem with this McDonald’s. My order always messed up. Couple of times I just closed my eyes but today, it was last time in this McDonalds. It’s not worth it anymore. Homeless hanging out and asking about food inside of building, drugs problem people in the washrooms… This place doesn’t worth even 1 cent. Great job, guys, keep going. Soon, you won’t have any customers at your business. I hope one day...
