Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Red Deer

Order pick up from South location online prepaid with CC. I go to get it and am told it was made across town north. I am unable to go north, they tell me to call customer service, call 310 10 10, wait on hold for 30 minutes, I give up and call 1 800 number for urgent requests, wait on hold 15 minutes, talk to a very nice man from call center in Atlanta, he says he will try and have someone reach out to me, wait 30 more minutes for callback (am very hungry now), tired of waiting, call 310 10 10 again, wait on hold for 35 more minutes, talk with a somewhat unhelpful lady, explain my situation to her only for her to tell me she does not handle online order, and she needs to transfer me to head office, get transferred to same "urgent request" line, wait on hold for 20 minutes, call disconnects with fast beeps tone. I give up,and microwave a Michelena dinner. Two days later, finally get a call from local manager of North store. She was very nice, and refunded my money and also attempted to have the Southside store credit me.the $25 for my meal. The south store refuses, so the manager offers to do said credit at her north store. I go the next day, and pick up my P'zone and Wings as I was on that end of town. I am somewhat satisfied with the resolution. I eat my meal, and then am awoken by terrible stomach cramps 4 hours later. I cannot say for sure the food made me sick, as I have zero proof. However it was all I had eaten since morning. I was late for work.due to this, and had reoccurring stomach cramps all mornin, then severe diarrhea briefly. I felt ok after that. This whole 4 day fiasco, all over a $25 order for a single dude, and from a longtime customer who has never complained, asked for a refund or a credit and who had always loved the food, had led to a one star rating, and to me no longer being a PizzaHut customer I will reiterate that the man I talked to from Atlanta Georgia and the manager from the North Red Deer, AB store were both very good people and this review is not meant to reflect...

The people at this location do not care about their jobs at all.

Lazy, Slow, Unhygienic, Bad Service, Bad Food. Avoid it.

I called in to inquire about why the delivery driver drove to the mall parking lot and parked, while my order was supposed be getting delivered. No answer after 5minutes on hold... Pizza finally showed up, but was cold by that point. Delivery driver told me he was "out getting food" when I asked why he went to the mall? So I drove down to get fresh pizzas made. Called on the way, no answer, and line dropped... Got there to see 5 employees standing in a circle in the dining room with the lights out, kitchen empty... Then witnessed 3 people take 15 minutes to prepare two pizzas for the oven, both with the same toppings, and they screwed it up. Maybe purposefully, maybe not; hard to tell when people are so slow and lethargic at their jobs. Basic kitchen hygiene practices not followed or enforced here... I wonder if new employees are taught safe food handling practices?

Ownership obviously doesn't care about this place going so downhill. Glad I went in to witness it though, cause it'll be the last cent I spend at this disgrace of...

Is there not a universal phone number you can dial to put in your order with a live agent at pizza hut and they will pass out order through to the location? Because the pizza hut in Red Deer does not do that anymore or has it deactivated or something, and I haven't been able to put in a phone order for months literally for probably even a year. No one answers the phone anymore... So now I just go in put in my order and wait out in the car which seems a little unfair. And of course you can ask them about it because, well you know, Filipino.

And I would also like to add, I don't know what kind of cheese they use, but it's not shiny when it comes out of the oven so every single one of their pizzas they spray with Pam. I'm in here putting in my order for chicken bites, and I see her spray down to pizzas before taking it out of the pan and I asked her why they do that but she ignored me lol. Because,...
