Nov. 5/2022 Update: My updated review is 5 stars and reflects the service, drinks, and meals I have had recently. I truly feel Birminghams North has worked out some kinks that were there since they first opened. Last night after a concert we went for a meal and drinks. It was busy and the two servers working were excellent. My dill pickle Caesar was very tasty, and served in a cute glass mug. Our servers Andrew and Summer were great at getting drinks out and taking our order. The food was excellent, the best we’ve had at any location. I know in the past I have had some skirt burgers that were on the dry side. This wasn’t. It was excellent. I know that in my other review Birmingham’s reached out to me. I haven’t contacted them yet. This new rating solely reflects my recent visits.

I want to love this location, but so far my experiences haven’t been so great. I have been there four times and three of those times I’ve had the same waitress. She does an okay job, but she should learn to keep her opinions and comments to herself - annoying! The other time we went we had three out of town guests and suggested we go there for dinner. The wait for our main meal was two hours! The appetizers came out earlier, but by the time our meals arrived we had already been there so long snacking on appys and having drinks that not everyone felt like eating their meal. Unfortunately I didn’t like my meal. I ordered a chicken sandwich on focaccia. The focaccia was so hard that when I went to bite it it hurt the roof of my mouth. I realize I must sound like a wimp, but it really did hurt. The lettuce was kind of slimy, it seemed like my dish had been sitting out for a while and wasn’t fresh. I don’t send food back, so I didn’t eat my meal. Appetizers we’re good, my husbands steak looked good. We recently celebrated our staff party at Birmingham Restaurant, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience! From start to finish, everything was fantastic. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, which set the perfect mood for our celebration.

We began with their margarita drinks, and they were spot on! The refreshing taste was just what we needed to kick off the night. For food, we ordered a mix of dishes, and every single one was a winner. The veg pizza was fresh, flavorful, and a perfect vegetarian option, while the chicken wings were crispy, juicy, and absolutely delicious.

When it came to dessert, we were all blown away by the chocolate balls and the ice cream dessert—both were indulgent, rich, and the perfect sweet ending to our meal. Many of my friends also enjoyed their alcoholic drinks, which added to the fun and lively vibe throughout the evening.

What really made the night memorable, though, was the game section. After enjoying all the food and drinks, we headed over to the games and spent a lot of time playing matches and competing with each other. It was such a fun and lighthearted way to bond as a team, and it completely wiped away the tiredness from the week. We were laughing, cheering, and having a great time together.

All in all, it was an incredible experience at Birmingham Restaurant. The food, drinks, games, and atmosphere made for a perfect night of celebration. I can’t wait to return for another fun and memorable time with friends...

edit: The owner contacted me about my experience and we decided to go back. Once again the food was amazing. No complaints at all. Delicious! It wasn't as busy when we went there and all of our food arrived just as we ordered it. Our server was amazing and very attentive bringing us extra drinks just in case as we were sitting outside and it was quite hot. I loved the swings on the outside deck which I didn't have a chance to see last time I was there as it was raining. They are great for those who are neurodivergent and have a hard time sitting still. I really appreciated the opportunity to come back and try this place again. I would recommend giving it a try. I would still like to suggest that they add nachos to their lunch menu. But overall a much better experience. I appreciate the opportunity!

It was quite busy while I was there so I'm not sure my experience is typical. They only do small menu during lunch which was disappointing as we came hoping to eat nacho which we were told were not available. Service was alright our food took about 45 mins to come out. Food was great but the pasta portion was small based on the price and $20 for an order of fries as well seemed steep. As well as they forgot my seasoning on my v fries and to bake cheese on my friends food. The cheese was an upcharge as well that was still on our bill until we asked about it.
