Polar Palace Ice Cream — Restaurant in Regina

I used to love coming here in the summer and getting ice cream treats. Now not so much, the staff are hard to understand and paying for an item is difficult. I payed for the ice cream treats with my debit card, and it was accepted. The counter person said I didn't pay because the receipt paper did not print off. The counter person told me to pay again, so I obliged and payed again. I went on my banking app and it said I made two purchases. It was not my fault they didn't refill the paper print out on the debit machine. I explained this to the counter person and they refunded my money, only when a different person payed in cash. Why couldn't they refund my money on my debit? I hope this place gets better soon, If not I will just head to Walmart and buy ice cream treats...

Went on July 1st wanted a black licorice milkshake. Being my first time there I asked the girl who was taking my order for a licorice milkshake I asked her is it black licorice and she wasn't sure. She asked another girl there and said it was. Get into my car drive to the park for the events only to find I have a plain vanilla shake that I paid $7.40 to say I'm not impressed is an understatement. That will be the last time I go there spend the time in line at milky way best...

I love going to Polar Palace, I live right across the street so it's nice and convenient for me. Their ice cream is awesome, I usually get cookies and cream and theirs has a taste that's better than the actual Oreo brand ice cream! Haven't had their food so can't comment on that. They also have slush puppies, soft serve ice cream, milkshakes and sundaes. They're open in the winter now too as they've adapted their space so you can walk...
