Finnigan's Roadhouse Renfrew — Restaurant in Renfrew

Just want to give a shout out to Finnigans Renfrew for some excellent customer service. Back in the fall, the hubs ordered ahead and swung by on his way home from work in Arnprior, to pick up some fajitas for our supper, only to get home and realize we had everything to assemble fajitas… except the meat 😳. It was a real “Where’s the beef” moment (if ya know ya know 🤭). We live outside Golden Lake, between Eganville and Killaloe, so it isn’t exactly a quick trip back to grab our protein. We called to let them know of the oops and the server that answered the phone was very apologetic and offered some form of restitution (which this ol’ “where’s the beef” era gal can’t exactly remember, but it was something). We thanked them and said we just wanted to let them know (someone would likely be wondering why there was some extra fajita meat sitting around looking lonely and abandoned). Anywho, minutes later the phone rang, it was one of the owners, Brad; he apologized again, acknowledged that it wasn’t exactly a quick/convenient trip back to grab the missing meat and wanted to make it right. He said that the next time we were in, our meal was on the house. Fast forward to today, many months after the fajita fiasco 🤭 and our first time back since, we asked Brad if he remembered the fajita incident of ‘24 and he absolutely did. Brad made good on his promise. We had an excellent dinner and walked away happy, well fed customers. That my friends, is excellent customer service! Kudos...

I had the Sunday buffet with my daughter & 2 grandkids and being from out of town and not knowing we had to have the buffet. The kids who are not breakfast eaters were graciously allowed to have chicken fingers & poutine. I am a senior and do not eat a very big meal so I found it difficult to choose what to have. Your potatoes were very good, the eggs were good as were the beans, although I did have to add a wee bit of salt. The bacon was greasy, I don't eat pork sausage and the Italian dish was very spicy and really didn't go with the rest of the meal!! I didn't see a need to have both pancakes & french toast but alot of people do like that. I would have liked to see some tomatoes, celery etc... to cut back on all the greasy food. I would have loved to have some of your soup, but there again it was a heavy soup, beef barley (which I really like). Service was excellent and what I did have was good! The price for the buffet was reasonable and if we ever are in the area again would definitely go back, but may have to change...

My husband and I had lunch before our grandsons hockey game they did not have a menu because they had a huge reservation so we had a Buffet. We asked for horseradish to go with the roast beef from another waitress. I was almost done my plate and asked Keina again and her response was “I forgot, I have other tables” so my response was, “you shouldn’t speak to customers that way” The owner came up raised his voice in public and got upset with me without asking the customer what happened. He was very unprofessional with his words stating they went out of there way making my grandson chicken nuggets. This was not about food this was about customer service. To make things even worse Keiana came back to our table to mouth off at me and wouldn’t stop. It was the worst customer service We have EVER experienced. Very unprofessional and absolutely disgusting customer service. We will NEVER stop there again! On a good note our waitress was very friendly and embarrassed...
