Be careful when paying for meals, I had an unfortunate experience today, July 28th/23 at Jimmy The Greek in Hillcrest Mall during lunchtime. I ordered Grilled lamb twice, one for take-out and the other for eating in the Mall. I paid for both meals individually. However, when it was time to receive my orders, the staff informed me that I hadn't paid for the second meal, despite being confident that I had.
The situation escalated, and even the manager seemed convinced that I needed to pay again for the second meal. I suggested that they check the receipt from their machine, but they refused to do so, especially one of the girls who was present at the time of my payment, outright denying that I had paid for the second meal. Frustrated but familiar with such treatment, I decided to resolve the matter differently. I showed them my credit card statement on my phone, which clearly displayed two separate payments for the Grilled lamb orders.
Finally, they apologized for the confusion, but it was unclear to me who was actually confused in this situation. While I appreciate the apology, I hope they improve their handling of such situations in the future, as it can be quite inconvenient and unsettling for customers. Being falsely accused of not paying for something can be embarrassing and frustrating, so it's essential for businesses to be more diligent in verifying payment information before confronting...
Read moreAt the hillcrest location there is this one Indian worker that is beyond rude and this isnt the first time that I have had an horrible encounter with her so I gave her the benefit of the doubt before but it seems like she is always this rude and disrespectful. The last time I was here I came around 7:45-7:50 and asked if you guys were still serving, I ordered 2 pitas and she was making them, i asked her to include cucumbers on the pita with a little bit of salad because my son is ALLERGIC to onions. She made a big deal about how only tomatos and onions were the only things allowed on the pita and made it seem like she was doing me a favour. She was also rushing me when making my order and made a comment about “we only get paid until 8”. And rolled her eyes. Like excuse me? Is this how your workers behave? It was not even 8 o clock yet. I came here again today and just my luck she was the one to serve me, and her attitude was beyond disgusting asking for a little extra cucumber on my salad and some dressing seems to make her upright. I know you guys have a portion but there is no way for your workers to...
Read moreI am deeply disturbed by an incident that took place today at Jimmy the Greek in the food court. My six-year-old son and his friends were near the straw station when he reached for a straw. At that moment, an employee named Frahar slapped his hand, causing him to cry in pain.
When I confronted her, she admitted to what she did but showed no remorse. Instead, she responded with shocking hostility, stating, "I would do even more if I wanted to." This is absolutely unacceptable, aggressive, and completely inappropriate behavior—especially from someone working in a public-facing role.
I can not, in good conscience, trust an establishment that employs individuals who physically harm children and display such disturbing, antisocial tendencies. Given her admission and complete disregard for basic human decency, I am escalating this matter to both Jimmy the Greek’s management, and the mall authorities. Someone with such a dangerous attitude should not be serving the public, let alone working around families and children.
This situation is beyond unacceptable, and I expect...
