I recently had the pleasure of visiting Cotti Coffee at Hillcrest Mall, and I can confidently say it was a fantastic experience! As someone who frequently passes by their Yonge & Dundas Square location while attending school downtown, I was excited to finally try this popular coffee spot. I’ve always wanted to visit but hesitated for some reason. Luckily, during my Winter Break, I discovered that Cotti Coffee had opened at Hillcrest Mall, and I couldn’t resist treating myself for the New Year.

Upon arrival, I noticed a huge line of eager customers, which piqued my curiosity about what all the fuss was about. They were running an incredible grand opening promotion featuring selected drinks for just $1+, including an Americano and a hot chocolate for $1.50 (though the latter was unfortunately sold out). Additionally, there was a 20% discount on all other drinks, like their matcha, which made the experience even more enticing.

One common misconception I encountered was that you have to order through the app to take advantage of the $1 drinks. However, that’s not the case! You can order in-store without any issues. If you’re a new customer looking to try a more upscale drink, you can order through the app for just $0.99 and receive four coupons, which is an excellent incentive to explore their menu.

The wait time was surprisingly reasonable; I only waited about 10-15 minutes, which I found quite acceptable given the grand opening buzz. I know some reviews mentioned challenges with the mobile ordering app, but I believe it’s important to be patient and understanding, especially since they had just opened and were likely facing an influx of orders. The staff was busy but worked diligently to serve everyone, and their positive attitude made a noticeable difference.

I decided to try the iced matcha latte with less ice, regular sugar, and regular milk. As someone who frequently visits Starbucks and other high-priced cafes downtown, I was genuinely impressed! The matcha was rich and flavorful, and the balance of sweetness was just perfect. It was a refreshing treat that exceeded my expectations.

Overall, my experience at Cotti Coffee Hillcrest Mall was exceptional. The combination of great promotions, friendly staff, and delicious drinks makes it a must-visit for anyone in the area. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their...

I was walking around the mall today when I saw this new coffee shop. Since they had a pretty good promotion (1 dollar for the first drink for new customers), I decided to give it a try. After some research, Cotti Coffee is a chic coffee/milk tea shop from China that aims to deliver good quality drinks at a reasonable price. Every premium drink on the menu is at 5.49 dollars, which is not bad at all! I created an account, placed my order, and received my drink quickly. That was great, though I noticed that most espresso-crafted drinks are made entirely by a small computer machine, similar to Timmies.

I got the iced “cloud mousse opera latte” (I know, a mouthful). Hmmm while it looks good, I don't know how to feel about it. It is mostly just milk, and a layer of a prepared coffee crema on top. I do like the fact it is not sweet though, so I could enjoy my iced milk and its natural sweetness.

Do I recommend it? I don't know, but ill come back to try different drinks again and keep...

Terrible management and staff customer service. They are extremely understaffed. The staff seem to be overworked and wanted to give up. I waited a simple iced drink for over 20 minutes. They said they were going to make the mousse component of the drink until they served all the customers they are waiting in line to order.

When I told them I have been waiting for the drink for almost 20 minutes, one of the barristers gave me an attitude and refused to pour the mousse that’s ready into my drink.

I don’t plan to go back again. Management doesn’t know how to add more staff during busy times nor care about customer service. That’s why Starbucks is still charging the high price at least they have...

20min to get 3 simple coffees!!! There’s 2 staff but only 1 was working! She didn’t follow the queue and priority has no place in here! She prepared 2 of my drinks and after 10min told me they didn’t have flat white and instead i should get latte! Vanilla latte, hazelnut latte and latte all tasted the same and not good at all! It seems they don’t even bother themselves to pump some flavour to the drinks! Service was amazingly awful! They put $1.50 ad on screen but when you get in you will see the prices are comparable with starbucks and the quality is lower than any coffee store in the town! DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!
