My family came here with my two kids for lunch based on a reco and the reviews here. Service was okay until the very end. We were a handful wanting to get two high chairs and an extra table to house them, but we were very polite about it and my husband was going to do it. We felt like every request we made being there (literally the only patrons at the restaurant), was inconveniencing them to work.
My kids ate fine, but my infant made a mess cuz heās one. When it came to leaving, I asked my husband to clean up the floor and then he went to go pay afterwards. We paid credit card and they l charged tip on our bill WITHOUT our consent and we didnāt see it until after we paid. When we asked, oh thereās a tip that you put here? The lady said yes and walked away. She was SUPER unfriendly from the start. I donāt know what her problem was, but we were not pleased.
Oh also we didnāt get everything we ordered and she tried to charge us for the dish we didnāt get.
Food wasnāt great. It came quickly, but it wasnāt very good.
Donāt bother to come here. Take your money to MINE Sushi instead or...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTL;DR TIPS/THINGS TO KNOW Lots of parking, won't have trouble finding a spot There's dining space, but they are mostly booths that can fit a maximum 4 people each. If you're with a large group with more than 4 people, expect to be split into two groups because you won't be able to sit side-by-side They accept credit
I'm not disappointed at this restaurant, but I'm not impressed by it either. My partner and I came here and we ordered the 60pc assorted sushi and sashimi platter. The total, including 15% tip and tax came to be around ~$67.
For $67, I did not think the platter was worth the cost. While the food tasted great, we did not get the dine-in experience that we should (they did not refill tea, or come by to ask if we were doing OK. In fact, I had to go up to the cashier to order my food, and paid for my meal before we even got it)
I think the platters themselves are worth it, but I wouldn't dine-in for this sushi again. You're better off doing take-out at...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreInside was nice and clean. We came with our two little kids, and although they didnāt have high chairs, we got them to sit still by bribing them with YouTube š.
The price is unbelievably cheap compare to downtown and the rest of the GTA. We cannot believe we got a black dragon roll for under $12. We had shrimp tempuras, seaweed salad, unagi lover set, spicy crab roll, salmon poke bowl and black dragon roll. We loved it all.
They were all delicious. My hubby especially enjoyed his salmon poke bowl. Teriyaki sauce was lying underneath so no extra soy sauce was needed. Kids loved the rolls and tempuras. And I especially enjoyed all things unagi.
Wish we lived closer so we can come here weekly. We definitely recommend this place!!
Bonus point for having extra clean washroom and dining area (even though it...
