Pho Xe Lua is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Vietnamese cuisine. From the moment you step in, the aromatic scents of traditional herbs and spices transport you to the bustling streets of Vietnam. The ambiance is cozy yet vibrant, echoing the warmth of Vietnamese hospitality.

The star of the show, of course, is their pho. Each bowl is a masterpiece, boasting rich, flavorful broth that's been simmered to perfection, tender slices of beef or chicken, and an array of fresh herbs and crunchy bean sprouts that add layers of texture and taste. It's the kind of dish that comforts your soul with every slurp.

But Pho Xe Lua offers more than just pho. Their menu is a culinary journey through Vietnam, featuring mouthwatering dishes like banh mi, spring rolls, and savory vermicelli bowls, each crafted with care and authenticity.

What truly sets Pho Xe Lua apart is their commitment to quality ingredients and traditional recipes. Every bite is a symphony of flavors, a testament to the chef's skill and passion for Vietnamese cuisine.

The service is exceptional, with staff who are knowledgeable and attentive, eager to guide you through the menu and ensure your dining experience is nothing short of extraordinary.

Whether you're a seasoned pho enthusiast or new to Vietnamese cuisine, Pho Xe Lua is a must-visit destination. Prepare to indulge your senses and embark on a culinary adventure that will leave you...

Pho Xe Lua Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine deserves nothing less than five stars for their outstanding traditional Pho and mouthwatering Chicken Vermicelli!

Firstly, the traditional Pho served at Pho Xe Lua is an absolute delight. The rich and aromatic broth, simmered to perfection, fills the air with tantalizing scents. The tender slices of beef and fresh herbs create a harmonious symphony of flavors that dance on your taste buds with every spoonful. It is a true testament to the authentic Vietnamese flavors that Pho Xe Lua is so renowned for.

Secondly, the Chicken Vermicelli is a culinary masterpiece that leaves a lasting impression. The vermicelli noodles are perfectly cooked, providing a light and satisfying base for the dish. The grilled chicken is tender and succulent, complemented by a medley of fresh vegetables and herbs that add a delightful crunch and freshness to every bite. Topped with a delectable dressing that balances sweet, savory, and tangy notes, this dish is a burst of delightful flavors that will leave you craving more.

Both of these dishes exemplify the authenticity and attention to detail that Pho Xe Lua brings to every plate. Their commitment to serving traditional Vietnamese cuisine is evident in every aspect of these two dishes, and I can't recommend them enough to anyone looking for an extraordinary...

Xe Lua has been around for more than 20 years and always the ‘go to’ restaurant when we can’t agree on where to go. My kids love the pho in beef soup which is comfort food. We came in almost 45 minutes before closing and the waitress reminded us that they have to close by 10pm because the cash register will shut down as programmed. I ordered the large with fresh rice noodles, since there wasn’t a medium size. Since there was a salmonella problem with the bean sprouts a couple of years ago, I always ask for them cooked. The basil leaves were fresh while a lot of places gave browning ones. The beef broth was served hot and tasted good as usual but the amount of noodles were not what I’d expect for a ‘large’ bowl. Probably because there’s less with fresh noodles ordered. However, there was enough meat in my order of raw beef slices with beef tripe and tendons. The restaurant was clean and the service was attentive. The washrooms are downstairs though but were clean and bright. It’s always satisfying after a nice...

Hadn’t been to this Pho Xe Lua branch for over 8 years, but I was in the area so I decided to grab a quick bite. The interior was exactly how I remembered it, nothing extraordinary but was a pretty comforting atmosphere. The food is very good for its value and the staff are usually busy with some sort of work so I would have to wave or call them over, which I think is typical for most Asian cuisines. The service was friendly. I ordered a pho noodle and a spring roll, and both their proportions were very generous and filling. My spring roll came a bit later than my pho noodles but it was very tasty and crispy. I managed to finish the pho, but couldn’t finish the spring roll and ended up packing it home to snack on during dinner.

Ordered via Uber Eats pickup. Order was on time, and no problems with service. The Pho broth tasted great, but my "shredded chicken noodle soup" came with anything but shredded chicken. Huge chunk of chicken with slimy skin and tendon still attached. Noodles were so overcooked that they immediately broke up and disintegrated. They had a promo on with Uber Eats to spend over a certain value and get a free milk tea - they put this ice cold milk tea in the same bag as the boiling hot pho liquid. By the time we got home (5mins down the road) the drink was separated, and warm. Despite the good broth, we likely won't be back due to the disgusting quality of the meat.
