Kinton Ramen is one of my more frequently visited ramen locations, second to only Ajisen. Kinton has amazing flavors and good meal deals for some late night eats or a quick convenient meal.

The spicy garlic broth is usually what I get, and it provides this perfect amount of heat to go with a deep garlic flavour, that marries the richness of the creamy broth, that just keeps me coming back. If all other food choices fail me and I have no idea what to eat, running around the corner for a quick bowl of Kinton Ramen is always the failsafe.

My only knock of the restaurant is that they aren't tending to the customers enough once served. I have to usually flag them down or walk up to the front desk after upwards of 10 minutes waiting to just ask for a refill of my water, even when not busy. Usually they should bring you the bill and machine once finished as they say they do, but even during "dead" hours, you sometimes have to wait upwards of 15 minutes before a waiter/waitress notices your bowl has been sitting on the opposite end of the table empty, and they can see the entire restaurant from where they stand. The last time I went, both the gentleman at the table in front of me, and myself sat there for over 10 minutes waiting for them to even just make eye contact with us to signal for the cheque.

Unbelievably good ramen....

A knockout bowl of spicy garlic beef ramen that is pure flavor heaven!

I can’t stop thinking about the spicy garlic beef ramen I had here. It was incredible from the first slurp to the last. The broth packed a punch that is bold, savory, and just the right level of heat to make your tastebuds dance without overwhelming the rest of the flavors. You could really taste the depth from the garlic and the slow-cooked beef essence.

The beef was unbelievably tender and thinly sliced, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. It soaked up the broth in the most delicious way. The noodles were springy and fresh, and the spicy garlic oil floating on top brought the whole dish together like a warm, flavorful hug.

The portion was generous, especially of the garlic, the service was quick and friendly, shoutout to Charlotte, Sayo, and Rocky for being very friendly and helpful, the atmosphere had that perfect cozy ramen-shop vibe because of the very people working inside.

If you're into spicy ramen or anything garlicky and bold, this dish is a must-try. Can’t wait to come back for...

Newly opened kinton, everything looks new but same old kinton style, seats are not comfortable as always.

Wait staff was friendly, only 2 to handle a lunch rush but seemed manageable at the moment as they were only half full.

Ordered 1 original chicken and 1 spicy jalapeno chicken. Original chicken came with a spicy soup base for some reason, questioned the wait staff if it's supposed to be spicy and they said no, asked me to pour them a little of my soup to taste, they confirmed it was spicy and shouldn't have been, apologized and said they may have mixed the spicy paste in the bowl. What concerns me was the potential contamination or cross contamination of other ingredients hence the 1 star for the kitchen. If someone is allergic to something it could be very serious.

2 stars for service since they did take the bowl off the bill after I asked them to when they gave me the original bill including the contaminated bowl.
