I placed an order for 2 kinds of foods for take out at 04:17pm. On the confirmation message I got it says ready for pick up at 4:50pm. I got there at 4:48pm, I asked the only person there that I’m there for pick up. She looks so confused and went to the kitchen, when she came back she said it’s ready in 5min. So I sat down and waited. There was no other customer there but me so how could they not have my order ready. 10min passed and a group of 5-6 people came in and she was with them for so long I couldn’t even ask where my order is since she’s the only one there. It was 5:15pm when she finally finished talking to the other customers and I asked her for my food. She went to the kitchen and came out and said it’s ready then proceed to go back to the other table. After like 3min she went back to the kitchen after taking the orders from the other table. Then I said I’m done waiting and I want a refund instead and go. She said 1min then went inside again, then another person came out to see what’s up and I told her the situation then she said sorry and just left too. I told the lady I really just want my refund because I don’t want the food anymore, I ordered ahead of time for pick up so it’s ready when I get there but I ended up waiting for so long because they did not start making the food yet. She just went back to the kitchen and grab my food and gave it to me. I told her if I can speak to a manager because I seriously don’t want the food anymore and just want my money back. She said there’s no manager, I asked for a supervisor, she said no supervisor, I asked her who can I speak to to get my refund then she kept saying sorry and that she don’t speak English. I just asked her if there’s anyone I can talk to aside from her but she said no. So I gave up and told her that this is just not right. There was literally no customer when I got there and I ordered so long ago but ended up waiting for almost 30min to get my food and not have a proper apology for the long wait and no supervisor/manager to talk to, and requested a refund but...

Had lunch there on a Sunday..What a complete disaster ! Ordered Cha-Siu/BBQ Duck combo rice & lean pork/duck egg congee with stir-fried noodles.

The duck wasn't bad, rice was however tough/dry and the Cha-Siu was barely lukewarm, also dry !

The lean pork/Duck egg congee with fried noodles were beyond bad. The congee had no flavor and looked hastily put together. The fried noodles had so much MSG that only half was tolerable...BAD !! Unfortunately, the food quality wasn't even the worst part..Since the combo was listed as a breakfast combo and we arrived after 11am, there was a surcharge on top which many restaurants have.. BUT, we were told that it's a few bucks more...yet when the bill came..it was $9.99 extra.. complained 2x of what we were told, they did nothing to compensate and the lady had the audacity to ask me to join some membership ???? !!!!! A few bucks is no issue but the store was being dishonest without much hesitation..

There were 3 tables around us and after eating for a while...everyone said none of us would be going back..

ONE AND DONE !!!!

Went back to give it a 2nd chance and was a BIG mistake...rice was lukewarm when served and dry...meat and veg. were below average...hot coffee was served just warm.., zero care for quality ! ..Added bonus, server dropped a teapot cover on the ground, picked it up, re-filled and placed the same cover back on without any cleaning or even a quick rinse..zero care !! This place may just be the worst Chinese restaurant in...

It was my 3rd time there yesterday, in the room as we had 8 people. I joined the VIP program after the 1st time. Stir fried noodles (Chow mein) was so crispy, with great portion of ingredients and not soaky that made me join the VIP program. Though the 2nd time had too much sauce that the middle part was a bit soaky, the 2rd time was better.

Dough stick 油炸鬼 and "ox tongue" pastry 牛脷酥 (not really ox tongue but kinda like the sweet version of Dough stick in oval shape) are good.

Service, depending on what time and how busy. As there are comments about short of staff, when it's busy plus delivery, they are really busy going here and there to take care of customers and delivery orders. Even paying bills takes quite a bit of time. I can't really blame them though it's about time. They try to serve well from what I can see. Cherry is one of the best, very polite and nice.

I guess it's still new, the ingredients they order, sometimes, may not be enough. I went there 1 time but disappointed to find out all sold out before 6 pm. I will allow time for them to improve once it becomes stable. I'd rather the food is fresh than ordering too much and eating mostly from frozen.

Overall, my experience is good...

Saw their promotional banner for $7.99 two items with rice so I wanted to try this new place. I didn't realize the $7.99 price is actually "VIP member only" until I sat down and read the menu. It was a bit tricky on their promotional banner. Their VIP membership costs $30, but the discount system is a bit confusing which I haven't figured out how it works. Anyway, I didn't want to pay for the membership until I tried their foods so I ordered from the "regular priced menu". I ordered the stir fired ho-fan (thick rice noodle) with beef in blackbean sauce. The noodle itself was actually not bad, but the blackbean sauce was very salty. The portion was ok, pretty much the same as the other similar restaurants in the area. There are places with better taste and bigger portion in the area though. However the services weren't bad. If they can get rid of the confusing VIP membership system and just provide normal menus like "lunch specials", "afternoon tea specials", it would be way better.

Came here for an early dinner on a Friday evening. There were still plenty of seats, as we arrived at 5:30pm. We ordered a congee, a rice noodle roll, and a beef fried rice noodle. As we were waiting, the tables got filled up quite quickly. The congee came quickly, taste wise was alright (a bit thirsty afterwards). We had to ask about the other items, and after another reminder and 30 minutes or so, the beef fried rice noodle arrived. Portion size was good, and it wasn't bad. The rice noodle never came, and we ended up cancelling it after waiting for another 15-20 minutes. The milk tea is definitely disappointing. The restaurant itself is clean, and the atmosphere is quite cozy, but the wait time for the food was quite disappointing for the type of food offered. I guess it's because it's still quite new, but it seemed too chaotic for a restaurant that's been opened for about a month or so now. Many tables around us had to keep reminding and chasing for their food as well.
