I'm sure the delivery experience is fine. But the in-store experience for us was terrible.
I came with my wife and since it was our first time, we took some time studying the menu. The pizza chef (older man) there looked totally annoyed that we were taking so long even AFTER we told him that we will need more time. He went to do his other things. When we were finally ready to order, I said I would like the Family Special. And as I proceeded to tell him the toppings I would like, he cut me off and asked, “What size? How many? What do you want?” So I proceeded to tell him I would like the 2 medium pizzas that come with the special. He rings up the order and it’s less than the price it should be and it turns out that he didn’t enter in the order as the Family Special but just as 2 medium pizzas and 3 toppings. That’s fine. But when I pointed that out to him, HE got angry with us and started yelling at us for being unclear. There were other patrons in the store who heard us and correct him too, but he continued to yell at everyone. I was embarrassed and completely appalled by his reaction.
I am surprised that in a CUSTOMER SERVICE industry, he did not approach the matter with more tact. The experience was extremely uncomfortable for my wife and I and we will never return to a Pizza Nova ever again.
The man needs anger management or customer-service training. There is no excuse ever to yell at a customer, especially when they weren’t wrong in the first place and was extremely polite throughout the...
Read moreWhen comparing the quality of the pizza from this store, in comparison to similar stores in the area like Pizza Pizza, Pizzaville, Dominos, etc., there is frankly no comparison. This Pizza Nova store and Pizza Nova chain in general, is head and shoulders above the competition when it comes to quality, quality of the cheese, quality of the toppings, quality of the dough used. They don't cheap out like Pizza Pizza tends to do. Always ask for it well done and you'll be glad you ever did. Compared to similar stores, the pizza is a lot more pricey but you truly get what you pay for. There is options for cheaper pizza in the area but if you're going to have Pizza, why not go for the best? If you want the best, "high-end" commercial pizza chain in Richmond Hill, then look no further than this store.
Delivery times take quite a while, about 50 minutes. The website and app don't give you the option to tip the driver through their online services. If I recall correctly, you also cannot pre-pay for your order, you have to pay at the door, but I could be...
Read moreI wouldn't go to this Pizza Nova location unless you were planning on getting into a car accident. Ordered for take-out during rush hour today and arrive around 4:25pm. One of their employees must have been running late as he and his friend were in a rush. They honked me entering the parking lot and then tried to pass me on the wrong side of the wrong - almost hitting me if I hasn't vigilant. When confronted about the danger the employee simply laughed at me and disappeared into the back. He refused to provide me with his name. He has glasses and a long curly ponytail. Doesn't seem like this is the first time he's been responsible for such dangerous acts. When I walked out of the building another customer told me they witnessed the entire interaction and has seen it happen before with the same employee. Other employees working were pleading for me to report the...
