I recently had the chance to visit a charming coffee shop located inside a cosmo music school while waiting for my son during his lessons. The cafƩ, newly opened on the ground floor at the entrance, offers a beautiful space to pass the time amidst luxurious musical instruments.
Though Iām not a coffee drinker and canāt comment on the taste, I was impressed by the thoughtful presentation. My order arrived on a lovely wooden tray, featuring three cupsāan espresso, cream, and a sparkling water. The addition of the sparkling water alongside the espresso was a delightful touch, adding a refreshing balance to the experience. Iām not sure if this is a standard practice or a unique touch from the owner, but I absolutely loved it.
The atmosphere is welcoming and lively, with a steady stream of customers even though the cafƩ just opened. The lady who served me was incredibly warm and friendly, offering excellent service from the moment she took my order to when she brought it to my table. Her smile and kindness made the experience even better.
For parents like me who find themselves waiting at the music school, this cafĆ© is a hidden gem. I highly recommend giving it a try, and Iām happy to see their business thriving. Wishing them all the best for...
Read moreNever knew this coffee shop was near me until I was looking for a different café to try in the area to do some work. As another review pointed out, it's hidden inside the Cosmo Music building. I came at around 11:00 AM, the place seemed quiet at first, until I realized there must of been an event happening for the music school upstairs because there was tons of people coming in. I ordered there Flat White w/ oat milk (Ethiopia - Guji beans) and a cookie. The flat white was smooth and creamy, not acidic for my taste, with a soft floral hint as the after taste. I like how it wasn't too sweet (I think whatever oat milk brand these used balanced the sweetness with the type of espresso roast I selected). The cookie was also delicious, again, sweetness was subtle (which I personally like) - the edge of the cookie was crispy while the middle was soft, not over powered by too much chocolate chips. Overall, I'd recommend to try their drinks and food, but definitely would not recommend as a place to study or work (WIFI connection is not theirs, so very slow and unstable on laptop), but good for a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhat kind of mad lad would shove a coffee roaster into Cosmo Music, and somehow made it feel like a nice cafe in an airport terminal š If you're looking for decent specialty coffee and freshly roasted beans, Terminal 3 is the new addition in the area!
T3 serves a lot of beans in the bar, with most of them on the light roast side. It offers three kinds of beans for espresso, including one seasonal bean. As for pour over, there are six beans but you might need to ask for the menu.
I quite like the pour over I tried, it was very smooth and bright. I really appreciate the barista taking the time to introduce the beans and giving recommendations. And also the roaster ensuring that the coffee is great by doing the pour twice and checking in with how the coffee tastes.
The interior is kind of cozy with the high ceiling and huge windows like an airport terminal, with some low hanging fairy lights plus a lot of natural light. This location really puts the Lakeshore location to shame. I just wish that there were more seating and cozier seats, it would make it the perfect place to...
